Analysis of constructive pathologies: A case study in a school in the city of Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará, Brazil

Resumo: | The state of conservation and the quality of the built environment influences the health and quality of life of its users, especially in teaching environments. In order for students to develop cognitive skills, it is necessary that the building environments do not hinder the teaching-learning process, as in the occurrence of unhealthy places that present pathologies. The school chosen for this study has elementary school students aged between 4 and 6 years, with susceptibility to allergies and respiratory problems, implying the need for periodic evaluation of the conservation status of the building. Therefore, this work aims to analyze and propose solutions for the pathologies observed in the teaching unit in the municipality of Juazeiro do Norte from a methodology based on a technical report from surveys with visual inspections, tactile, plaster seal tests and evaluation of the thickness of the cracks. In view of the data obtained, the main pathologies, their possible causes, were identify. Solutions were subsequently proposed and the existing level of risk identified. It was evidence that the main pathological manifestations were observe in the walls, floors and facades, with emphasis on the cracks, in addition to displacement of coating, stains and infiltrations. |

Para que los estudiantes desarrollen habilidades cognitivas, es necesario que los entornos de construcción no obstaculicen el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, como en la ocurrencia de lugares insalubres que presentan patologías. La escuela elegida para este estudio cuenta con alumnos de primaria de entre 4 y 6 años, con susceptibilidad a alergias y problemas respiratorios, lo que implica la necesidad de una evaluación periódica del estado de conservación del edificio. Por lo tanto, este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar y proponer soluciones para las patologías observadas en la unidad docente del municipio de Juazeiro do Norte a partir de una metodología basada en un informe técnico de encuestas con inspecciones visuales, pruebas táctiles, de sellado de yeso y evaluación del espesor de las grietas. A la vista de los datos obtenidos, se identificaron las patologías principales, sus posibles causas. Posteriormente se propusieron soluciones y se identificó el nivel de riesgo existente. Se evidenizó que las principales manifestaciones patológicas se observaron en las paredes, suelos y fachadas, con énfasis en las grietas, además del desplazamiento de revestimiento, manchas e infiltraciones.O estado de conservação e, a qualidade do ambiente construído influencia na sanidade e qualidade de vida de seus usuários, sobretudo em ambientes de ensino. Para que os alunos possam desenvolver as habilidades cognitivas é necessário que os ambientes da edificação não dificultem o processo de ensino-aprendizagem, como na ocorrência de lugares insalubres e que apresentem patologias. A escola escolhida para esse estudo possui alunos do ensino fundamental com faixa etária entre 4 a 6 anos, com suscetibilidade a alergias e problemas respiratórios, implicando na necessidade de avaliação periódica do estado de conservação do edifício. Diante disso, esse trabalho visa analisar e propor soluções para as patologias observadas na unidade de ensino no município de Juazeiro do Norte a partir de uma metodologia fundamentada por meio de laudo técnico a partir de vistorias com inspeções visuais, táteis, ensaios de selo de gesso e avaliação das espessuras das fissuras. Diante dos dados obtidos, identificaram-se as principais patologias, suas possíveis causas. Posteriormente foram propostas soluções e identificado o nível de risco existente. Evidenciou-se que as principais manifestações patológicas foram observadas nas paredes, pisos e fachadas, com destaque para as fissuras, além de deslocamento de revestimento, manchas e infiltrações.
