Educational technologies aimed at health education are important tools to encourage self-care. The objective of this work was to build an educational video-type media with postural guidelines for mastectomy cancer patients. It was initially an integrative review research developed in two stages: Bibliographic survey and construction of educational media. To survey the articles in the literature, a search was carried out in the PubMed®, PEDro (Physiotherapy Evidence Database) and SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) databases. The video was titled: Postural Guidelines for Mastectomized Patients. It explains the main care for the upper limb ipsilateral to the mastectomy, indicating the explanations in an organized way. Given the different forms of application, and considering that physiotherapy can contribute in different ways to the postoperative treatment of mastectomy with guidelines to prevent complications resulting from this surgical procedure, this educational media can help in the rehabilitation process of patients undergoing cancer treatment, being another resource in the dissemination of guidelines, contributing to the self-care of these patients.
