Resumo: | AMI is the leading cause of death in Brazil and worldwide. It is characterized by the destabilization of the atherosclerotic plaque that will involve the rupture and soon after the formation of a thrombus, which may totally or partially obstruct the coronary artery. The objective of the study is to know and study the performance of the nursing team in front of the patient diagnosed with Acute Myocardial Infarction in an emergency. This is an exploratory and descriptive study. The study was developed with ten nursing professionals from a medium-sized hospital in Vale do Taquari who work in the emergency sector. The results showed that both nurses and nursing technicians follow the same behavior towards patients with AMI and know how to manage them in an adequate and organized way, as each one has a role during the care; the conduct before the relatives of the patients described was to pass on information regarding the patient's condition and how to proceed during the care. In some cases, care is provided by a professional psychologist. Regarding the patient's condition, only physicians provide this information and the SAE was reported as a very important tool, promoting better care and organization of the team, reflecting on the patient's improvement. We conclude that the performance of the nursing team is extremely important for the care of AMI, as well as the behavior of the team reflects in the care of the patient and family. |

Se caracteriza por la desestabilización de la placa aterosclerótica que conllevará la ruptura y poco después la formación de un trombo, que puede obstruir total o parcialmente la arteria coronaria. El objetivo del estudio es conocer y estudiar la actuación del equipo de enfermería frente al paciente diagnosticado de Infarto Agudo de Miocardio en una emergencia. Se trata de un estudio exploratorio y descriptivo. El estudio fue desarrollado con diez profesionales de enfermería de un hospital de mediano porte en Vale do Taquari que actúan en el sector de urgencias. Los resultados mostraron que tanto los enfermeros como los técnicos de enfermería siguen el mismo comportamiento hacia los pacientes con IAM y saben manejarlos de forma adecuada y organizada, ya que cada uno tiene un rol durante el cuidado; la conducta ante los familiares de los pacientes descrita fue transmitir información sobre el estado del paciente y cómo proceder durante la atención. En algunos casos, se proporciona un psicólogo profesional. En cuanto al estado del paciente, sólo los médicos brindan esa información y el SAE fue relatado como una herramienta muy importante, promoviendo una mejor atención y organización del equipo, reflejando en la mejoría del paciente. Concluimos que la actuación del equipo de enfermería es sumamente importante para el cuidado del IAM, así como el comportamiento del equipo se refleja en el cuidado del paciente y de la familia.O IAM é a principal causa de morte no Brasil e no mundo. É caracterizado pela instabilização da placa aterosclerótica que irá envolver a ruptura e logo após a formação de um trombo podendo obstruir totalmente ou parcialmente a coronária. O objetivo do estudo é conhecer e estudar a atuação da equipe de enfermagem frente ao paciente com diagnóstico de Infarto Agudo do Miocárdio em uma emergência. Trata-se de um estudo de caráter exploratório e descritivo. O estudo foi desenvolvido com dez profissionais de enfermagem de um hospital de porte médio no Vale do Taquari que atuam no setor da emergência. Os resultados mostraram que as tanto enfermeiros como técnicos de enfermagem seguem a mesma conduta frente ao paciente com IAM e sabem manejar de forma adequada e organizada, pois cada um exerce uma função durante o atendimento; a conduta frente aos familiares dos pacientes descritas foram de passar informações referentes ao quadro do paciente e como irá proceder no decorrer do atendimento. Para alguns casos é fornecido atendimento com profissional psicólogo. Sobre o estado do paciente, quem fornece essas informações são somente médicos e a SAE foi relatada como uma ferramenta de suma importância, promovendo melhor o atendimento e organização da equipe, refletindo na melhora do paciente.
