Curriculum of the course of Pedagogy: A Reflection on the teacher and in Teaching Mathematics in Elementary School

Resumo: The present article proposes a reflection on the curriculum of the Pedagogy course and the teacher who will act in the Teaching of Mathematics, in the initial years of Elementary School. It is observed that the Pedagogy courses offered promote the development of pedagogical skills, especially in the field of Didactics, on entering, it is verified that there is a possible deficiency in the basic training of these future teachers, so it is proposed to reflect on, as the Curriculum of the course of Pedagogy can contribute to reduce the impact between two realities: the one experienced in the course of Pedagogy and the teaching praxis in its classroom? In order to better understand this complex scenario, three higher education institutions were selected in the region of Grande ABC, in São Paulo, and the curricular components that comprise Mathematics Education were analyzed, in a qualitative perspective, from the perspective of documentary analysis. The proposed reflection reveals the importance of having a more holistic view about the basic education of the student entering the Pedagogy course, in order to understand the real needs and, in this way, to provide a training that can contribute to improvement in the teaching process of Mathematics in Elementary School.

Se observa que los cursos de Pedagogía ofrecidos promueven el desarrollo de competencias pedagógicas, principalmente en el campo de la Didáctica, sin embargo, es constatado que existe una posible deficiencia en la formación básica de esos futuros profesores, siendo así propuesto reflexionar sobre, como el currículo del curso de Pedagogía puede contribuir a disminuir el impacto entre dos realidades: la vivenciada en el curso de Pedagogía y la praxis docente en sala? Para comprender mejor estos complejos escenarios fueron seleccionadas tres instituciones de Enseñanza Superior en la región de la Grande ABC, en São Paulo y analizados los componentes curriculares que contemplan la Enseñanza de Matemáticas, desde una perspectiva cualitativa, bajo la óptica del análisis documental. La reflexión propuesta revela la importancia de tener una visión más holística sobre la formación básica del alumno que ingresa en el curso de Pedagogía, a fin de entender las reales necesidades y, de esta forma, proporcionar una formación que pueda contribuir a la mejora en el proceso de Enseñanza de Educación Matemáticas en la Enseñanza Fundamental.O presente artigo propõe uma reflexão sobre o currículo do curso de Pedagogia e o Professor que atuará no Ensino da Matemática, nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. Observa-se que os cursos de Pedagogia ofertados promovem o desenvolvimento de competências pedagógicas, principalmente no campo da Didática, no entanto, é constatado que existe uma possível deficiência na formação básica desses futuros professores, sendo assim propõe-se refletir sobre, como o currículo do curso de Pedagogia pode contribuir para diminuir o impacto entre duas realidades: a vivenciada no curso de Pedagogia e a práxis docente em sala? Para compreender melhor estes complexos cenários foram selecionadas três instituições de Ensino Superior na região da Grande ABC, em São Paulo e analisados os componentes curriculares que contemplam o Ensino de Matemática, numa perspectiva qualitativa, sob a ótica da análise documental.
