New chance: looking at the social reinsertion of ex-inmates through education in the Municipality of Cuiabá

Resumo: | The research aims to understand the formation and how the knowledge of teachers who teach in the literacy of Persons Deprived of Liberty in the penitentiary system of Mato Grosso is constituted. Its methodological proposal is the case study whose data collection instruments are the observation of the researched space, a structured questionnaire for the identification and selection of participants and a semi-structured interview. The proposal involves teachers who work in the first segment of Youth and Adult Education and prioritizes the experiences lived and acquired in the space mentioned, which is different from the usual schools. The authors who support this study are: Tardif (2012); Freire (2011); Arroyo (2008). The locus of the research is a state school located in Cuiabá that serves people deprived of their liberty, whose participants are teachers from the 1st segment of Youth and Adult Education. The results showed that there is no offer of initial or continuing education for the area in which they work and that the knowledge that subsidizes all their teaching activities in the penitentiary system, comes from the experience acquired in the course of 10 years supported by the knowledge acquired in theories. |

Su propuesta metodológica es el estudio de caso cuyos instrumentos de recolección de datos son la observación del espacio investigado, un cuestionario estructurado para la identificación y selección de participantes y una entrevista semiestructurada. La propuesta involucra a docentes que trabajan en el primer segmento de Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos y prioriza las experiencias vividas y adquiridas en el espacio mencionado, que es diferente a las escuelas habituales. Los autores que apoyan este estudio son: Tardif (2012); Freire (2011); Arroyo (2008). El lugar de la investigación es una escuela estatal ubicada en Cuiabá que atiende a personas privadas de libertad, cuyos participantes son profesores del 1er segmento de Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos. Los resultados mostraron que no existe oferta de formación inicial o continua para el área en la que se desempeñan y que el conocimiento que subsidia toda su docencia en el sistema penitenciario, proviene de la experiencia adquirida en el transcurso de 10 años sustentada en los conocimientos adquiridos en teorías.O estudo tem como objetivo compreender a formação e como são constituídos os saberes dos professores que lecionam na alfabetização de Pessoas Privadas de Liberdade no sistema penitenciário de Mato Grosso. Tem como proposta metodológica o estudo de caso cujos instrumentos de coleta dos dados são a observação do espaço pesquisado, questionário estruturado para identificação e seleção dos participantes e entrevista semiestruturada. A proposta envolve os docentes que atuam no primeiro segmento da Educação de Jovens e Adultos e prioriza as experiências vividas e adquiridas no espaço mencionado, o qual é diferente das tidas escolas normais. Os autores que dão suporte, a este estudo são: Tardif; Freire, Arroyo. O lócus da pesquisa é uma escola estadual situada em Cuiabá que atende pessoas privadas de liberdade, cujos participantes são os professores do 1º segmento da Educação de Jovens e Adultos.
