Resumo: Pressure Injury is a serious public health problem, especially in hospitalized patients, affecting their quality of life with physical and emotional suffering, as well as their families. It generates a significant impact on health services, causing an overload in the work of professionals and an increase in material resources. The objective is to review content on the clinical practice of Pressure Injury and the teaching and learning process in undergraduate nursing. This is a literature review carried 2021, where legislation (guidelines, protocols, guidelines and consensuses) on the topic Pressure Injury, authors of national and international scientific articles, which were recently published (2011 to 2020). References were obtained from virtual libraries (BVS, Scielo, Medline, Google Scholar, Science Direct, PubMed, Wiley and LILACS), using the descriptors: Pressure Injury; knowledge; nursing and students. After analyzing the material, four thematic categories were developed, namely: nomenclature, concept and classification; risk factors, prediction scale and topographical areas; public policies, consensus and interventions; curriculum guidelines, academic training and professional qualification of nurses. With regard to nursing students, it is important that there are incentives for the search for updates, both in regular and extracurricular activities, which give new meaning to their practices and encourage a better approach to this content in their curriculum. It is necessary, however, for the HEIs to be interested in strengthening the integrating link between theory and practice that allows students to recognize themselves as managers of their teaching-learning process.
