Thus, this study presented as main aim to understand the perception of puerperae women about the importance of nursing staff's practice in the humanized vaginal delivery in a public maternity hospital in the Municipality of Imperatriz-MA. This is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, carried out with 16 puerperae. Results showed that humanized nursing care during childbirth provides safety, comfort and emotional balance for parturient, thus, seeking to minimize pain through techniques and bring relaxation, which improves the quality of the delivery, not only for the nursing team, but mainly for the protagonist who is the woman; some techniques include: ambulation, baths, massages and use of swiss ball. Research, Society and Development2020-10-07info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/836110.33448/rsd-v9i10.8361Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 No. 10; e5459108361Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 Núm. 10; e5459108361Research, Society and Development; v. 9 n. 10; e54591083612525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/8361/7909Copyright (c) 2020 Jessica Costa Moreira dos Santos ; Thais Rodrigues de Sousa Silva ; Monica Andrea Miranda Aragão ; Vitor Pachelle Lima Abreu ; Raylton Aparecido Nascimento Silva ; Martin Dharlle Oliveira Santana ; Ruhena Kelber Abrão https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSantos , Jessica Costa Moreira dos Silva , Thais Rodrigues de Sousa Aragão , Monica Andrea Miranda Abreu , Vitor Pachelle Lima Silva , Raylton Aparecido Nascimento Santana , Martin Dharlle Oliveira Abrão , Ruhena Kelber 2020-10-31T12:03:23Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/8361Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:30:51.318139Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
