Factors that influence the intake of ultra-processed foods by children during the period of complementary feeding

Resumo: Introduction: Processed foods, such as ultra-processed ones, are foods with high energy density, which can increase caloric intake in people's diets. These foods are associated with increased intake of non-oil foods, which can lead to obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic communicable diseases. Objective: to investigate the factors that do not intend to consume ultra-processed foods through complementary feeding. Methodology: this is a literature review, The bibliographic review was carried out through journals, books, e-books and scientific digital research: Scientific Electronic Library Online: (Scielo), Bireme (Latin American and scientific digital search) Caribbean Health Sciences Information Portal, CAPES Periodicals Portal, Virtual Health Library (VHL). Results and Discussion: Discussion: Nutrition in the first years of growth and development of life: an important role in children's growth. The World Health Organization (WHO) and recommends the Ministry of Exclusive Milk until birth, the Ministry of Health of Health (WHO) the 6th month of exclusive birth, the Ministry of Health until birth, additional health care from birth to newborn illnesses and prevention. Conclusion. The supply of non-reduced foods is considered an indication of sufficient complementary feeding in infants, a factor in stopping the duration and frequency of breastfeeding, formation of habits and tendencies towards obesity and the development of chronic non-communicable diseases in adult life.

Objetivo: investigar los factores que no pretenden consumir alimentos ultraprocesados ​​a través de la alimentación complementaria. Resultados y Discusión: Discusión: La nutrición en los primeros años de crecimiento y desarrollo de vida: un papel importante en el crecimiento de los niños. La Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) y recomienda el Ministerio de Leche Exclusiva hasta el nacimiento, el Ministerio de Salud de Salud (OMS) el 6to mes de nacimiento exclusivo, el Ministerio de Salud hasta el nacimiento, atención médica adicional desde el nacimiento hasta enfermedades y prevención del recién nacido. Conclusión. La oferta de alimentos no reducidos se considera un indicio de alimentación complementaria suficiente en los lactantes, un factor de interrupción de la duración y frecuencia de la lactancia materna, formación de hábitos y tendencias a la obesidad y al desarrollo de enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles en la vida adulta.Introdução: Alimentos processados, como os ultraprocessados, são alimentos com alta densidade energética, o que pode aumentar a ingestão calórica na dieta diária das pessoas. Esses alimentos também estão associados ao aumento da ingestão de sódio e óleo, o que pode levar à obesidade, diabetes, hipertensão e outras doenças crônicas não transmissíveis. Objetivo: é investigar os fatores que influenciam no consumo de alimentos ultra processados por crianças no período da alimentação complementar. Metodologia: trata-se de uma revisão de literatura, A revisão bibliográfica foi realizada, através de busca em revistas, livros, e-books e plataformas digitais científicas: Scientific Electronic Library Online: (Scielo), Bireme (centro Latino-Americano e do Caribe de Informação em Ciências da Saúde), Portal de Periódicos CAPES, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS). Resultados e Discussão: Discussão: A nutrição nos primeiros anos de vida desempenha um papel importante no crescimento e desenvolvimento normal das crianças. A Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS) e o Ministério da Saúde (MS) recomendam o aleitamento materno exclusivo até o 6º mês de nascimento, além de introduzir alimentos complementares e manter a amamentação até os 2 anos para atender às novas necessidades e prevenir doenças. Conclusão. A oferta de alimentos não saudáveis ​​é considerada um indicativo de alimentação complementar insuficiente em lactentes, fator de risco para redução da duração e frequência do aleitamento materno, formação de hábitos e tendências à obesidade e ao desenvolvimento de doenças crônicas não transmissíveis na vida adulta.
