Resumo: This study aimed at exploring experiences of preceptors from two Multiprofessional Residency programs in healthcare to critically ill patients. The method used is the study of multiple cases (A and B) with data collection in two steps: 1) electronic questionnaire, analyzed through univariate descriptive statistics; 2) semi-structured interviews, with content analysis of Bardin. Preceptors’ profile - most did not have specific weekly working hours; there was financial incentive in case-unit A; for 60%(A) and 76.2%(B) this had not been their first teaching experience; and 50%(A) and 14.3%(B) had had previous pedagogical training. Four categories and sub-categories have emerged from the interviews: professional preceptor (undertaken role, required skills, previous pedagogical training); daily experience (work organization, teaching-learning process, residents’ evaluation process, extra praxis activities); relevant aspects of preceptorship (negative, positive); suggestions for improvement (preceptors’ appreciation, improvement of MRH programs). Preceptors seemed to be satisfied; however, complicating factors related to the practice were listed, such as work overload and lack of specific working hours.

Research, Society and Development2019-02-25info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/87110.33448/rsd-v8i4.871Research, Society and Development; Vol. 8 No. 4; e4284871Research, Society and Development; Vol. 8 Núm. 4; e4284871Research, Society and Development; v. 8 n. 4; e42848712525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/871/785Copyright (c) 2019 Rafaela Milanesi, Rita Catalina Aquino Caregnato, Simone Travi Canabarroinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessMilanesi, RafaelaCaregnato, Rita Catalina AquinoCanabarro, Simone Travi2020-03-25T16:07:03Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/871Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:26:08.345325Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
