Training of precepts in the Multiprofissional or Uniprofissional residence in the health area: an integrative review

Resumo: Objective: This study aimed at identifying scientific publications on preceptor training in multiprofessional or uniprofessional health residency. Methods: Integrative review with searches on Web of Science, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Pubmed, Scielo, and Lilacs databases considering articles published between 2015 and 2019. Results: 21 publications were selected for the study, out of which 12 were Brazilian; the other 9 were foreign, using English as the predominant language on 67% of the publications. The publications presented are all in the fields of Pharmacy and Nursing, and only 7 articles were fully devoted to the theme ‘training strategies’. The articles were sorted out into 4 preceptor training-related topics: strategies for preceptor training, preceptor training for interdisciplinarity, accountability for preceptor training and necessity of preceptorship training. Conclusions: The study has demonstrated that preceptorship training is important for the qualification of health services, yet residency programs are still weak in carrying it out. That indicates a gap to be filled in the health training scenario and on scientific publications.

Métodos: Revisión integradora con búsquedas en las bases de datos de artículos de la Web of Science, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Pubmed, Scielo y Lilacs publicados de 2015 a 2019. Resultados: Fueron seleccionadas 21 publicaciones concentradas en las áreas de enfermería y farmacia, solo siete artículos estaban completamente dedicados a estrategias de capacitación. Las publicaciones se clasificaron en cuatro temas relacionados con la capacitación del preceptor: estrategias utilizadas para la capacitación del preceptor; entrenar al preceptor para la interdisciplinariedad; responsabilidad por la capacitación del preceptor y la necesidad de capacitación en la preceptación. Conclusiones: la capacitación para preceptores es importante para la calificación de los servicios de salud, sin embargo, hay pocas publicaciones que aborden exclusivamente este tema, lo que demuestra una brecha que se debe llenar en publicaciones científicas sobre preceptores de capacitación.Objetivo: Conhecer as publicações científicas que abordam a temática sobre formação de preceptores na residência multiprofissional ou uniprofissional em saúde. Métodos: Revisão integrativa com buscas nas bases Web of Science, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Pubmed, Scielo e Lilacs, em artigos publicados de 2015 a 2019. Resultados: Selecionadas 21 publicações concentradas nas áreas de enfermagem e farmácia, apenas sete artigos foram dedicados exclusivamente às estratégias de formação. As publicações foram classificadas em quatro tópicos relacionados à formação do preceptor: estratégias utilizadas para a formação do preceptor; formação do preceptor para a interdisciplinaridade; responsabilidade pela formação do preceptor e necessidade de formação na preceptoria.
