Resumo: There is growing interest in the use of inoculants containing plant growth promoting bacteria, which can also increase crop yields. The objective of this work was to evaluate the influence of different inoculation methods of Azospirillum brasilense on the vegetative development and grain production of corn in different relief zones. The experiment was conducted in Cruzeiro do Sul (RS), with mechanized sowing of the hybrid Velox TL®, super-early cycle. The experimental design was a 3x3 factorial scheme, considering three inoculation methods (seed inoculation, furrow-directed application, and no inoculation) and three distinct relief zones (high, medium, and low altitude), with three replications. The variables plant height, stem diameter, number of grains per plant and dry matter were determined. Data were submitted to the Tukey test, at 5% probability of error. There was no interaction between inoculation methods and relief zones. The inoculation of A. brasilense in both treatments provided only greater final height of the plants when compared to the management without the use of seed inoculation. The stem diameter variable was influenced by the position in the relief, demonstrating the importance of precision agriculture by not considering the areas as homogeneous.

Research, Society and Development2022-03-16info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/2740110.33448/rsd-v11i4.27401Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 No. 4; e19511427401Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 Núm. 4; e19511427401Research, Society and Development; v. 11 n. 4; e195114274012525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/27401/23835Copyright (c) 2022 Marlo Markus Lopes; Luciano Zucuni Pes; Biane de Castro; Lúcio de Paula Amaral; Bruna San Martin Rolim Ribeiro; Simone Puntel; Kelly Cristina Camargohttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessLopes, Marlo MarkusPes, Luciano ZucuniCastro, Biane deAmaral, Lúcio de PaulaRibeiro, Bruna San Martin RolimPuntel, SimoneCamargo, Kelly Cristina2022-03-27T17:17:09Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/27401Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:45:09.152371Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
