Resumo: Today, the State of Ceará (Brazil) appears on the national and international scene as a reference for educational quality, alluding to the policy of professional education integrated with high school. In the academy, it is a consensus that education is related to factors that can define implications of school success or failure. Considering aspects related to motivation, this article aimed to identify and discuss the presence of this factor for quality educational provision. To this end, a qualitative study was carried out, with a descriptive nature, in the form of a comparative study, carried out through bibliographic survey, documentary research, on-site observation and semi-structured interviews, among 10 professional schools that offer this integrated education modality. to high school, in the State of Ceará, 5 with high performance (44 subjects) and 5 with low performance (39 subjects), based on the results of external evaluations. The study confirms the need for motivation in school environments and in the development of pedagogical work, while contributing to scientific and professional training, in addition to conceiving theoretical contributions to the construction of new research to improve learning.

En el ámbito académico, existe un consenso de que la educación está relacionada con factores que pueden definir las implicaciones del éxito o el fracaso escolar. Considerando aspectos relacionados con la motivación, este artículo tuvo como objetivo identificar y discutir la presencia de este factor para la oferta educativa de calidad. Para ello, se realizó un estudio cualitativo, de carácter descriptivo, en forma de estudio comparativo, realizado mediante levantamiento bibliográfico, investigación documental, observación in situ y entrevistas semiestructuradas, entre 10 escuelas profesionales que ofrecen esta modalidad de educación integrada. al bachillerato, en el Estado de Ceará, 5 con alto desempeño (44 asignaturas) y 5 con bajo desempeño (39 asignaturas), con base en los resultados de evaluaciones externas. El estudio confirma la necesidad de motivación en los entornos escolares y en el desarrollo del trabajo pedagógico, al tiempo que contribuye a la formación científica y profesional, además de concebir aportes teóricos para la construcción de nuevas investigaciones para mejorar el aprendizaje.Hodiernamente, o Estado do Ceará (Brasil) aparece no cenário nacional e internacional como referência de qualidade educacional, com alusão à política de educação profissional integrada ao ensino médio. Na academia, é consenso que a educação esteja relacionada à fatores que podem definir implicações de sucesso ou fracasso escolar. Considerando aspectos relacionados à motivação, este artigo teve objetivo identificar e discutir a presença desse fator para oferta educacional de qualidade. Para tanto, realizou-se um estudo de natureza qualitativa, com cunho descritivo, na forma de estudo comparativo, feito por meio de levantamento bibliográfico, pesquisa documental, observação in loco e entrevistas semiestruturadas, entre 10 escolas profissionais que ofertam essa modalidade de educação integrada ao ensino médio, no Estado do Ceará, sendo 5 com alto rendimento (44 sujeitos) e 5 com baixo rendimento (39 sujeitos), com base em resultados de avaliações externas.
