Resumo: | Introduction: The pregnant woman with syphilis when umtreated or offered an inadequate therapeutic plan increases the susceptibility of the baby to contact T. Pallidum, thus developing congenital syphilis (CS). Objectives: To identify the epidemiological profile of CS in a city in the interior of Bahia from 2017 to 2021; Detect the percentage of pregnant women affected by syphilis who underwent prenatal care, according to the cs notification form in a city in the interior of Bahia in 2017 to 2021; To highlight the moment of the diagnosis of maternal syphilis and the inclusion of the partner in the therapeutic plan in a city in the interior of Bahia in 2017 to 2021; To identify the age group, gender, evolution and clinical classification of neonates and infants reported with CS in a city in the interior of Bahia from 2017 to 2021. Methodology: Descriptive, exploratory and quantitative study, based on the information provided by SINAN, regarding the cases of CS that occurred in a municipality in the interior of Bahia in the year 2017 to 2021. Results: 208 children were investigated, and there was a marked predominance of sexual partnership excluded from therapy, with 142 (68.27%) individuals. A majority percentage of detection is demonstrated until 6 days of life, with 196 (94.23%) and 144 (83.24%) remained alive until the period of notification and investigation. Final considerations: There was a marked percentage of diagnosis in children with CS at an opportune time and with a favorable clinical outcome. |

Objetivos: Identificar el perfil epidemiológico del SC en una ciudad del interior de Bahía de 2017 a 2021; Detectar el porcentaje de gestantes afectadas por sífilis que se sometieron a atención prenatal, según el formulario de notificación de SC en una ciudad del interior de Bahía en 2017 a 2021; Destacar el momento del diagnóstico de sífilis materna y la inclusión de la pareja en el plan terapéutico en una ciudad del interior de Bahía en 2017 a 2021; Identificar la edad, sexo, evolución y clasificación clínica de neonatos y lactantes notificados con SC en una ciudad del interior de Bahía de 2017 a 2021. Metodología: Estudio descriptivo, exploratorio y cuantitativo, basado en la información proporcionada por el SINAN, sobre los casos de SC ocurridos en un municipio del interior de Bahía en el año 2017 a 2021. Resultados: Se investigaron 208 niños y hubo un marcado predominio de la pareja sexual excluida de la terapia, con 142 (68,27%) individuos. Se demuestra un porcentaje mayoritario de detección hasta los 6 días de vida, con 196 (94,23%) y 144 (83,24%) que permanecen vivos hasta el período de notificación e investigación. Consideraciones finales: Hubo un marcado porcentaje de diagnóstico en niños con SC en un momento oportuno y con un resultado clínico favorable.Introdução: A gestante portadora da sífilis quando não tratada ou ofertado um plano terapêutico inadequado, aumenta a susceptibilidade do bebê entrar em contato com o T. Pallidum, assim desenvolver a sífilis congênita (SC). Objetivos: Identificar o perfil epidemiológico de SC em uma cidade do interior da Bahia no ano de 2017 a 2021; Detectar o percentual das gestantes acometidas por sífilis que realizaram o pré-natal, conforme a ficha de notificação de SC em uma cidade do interior da Bahia em 2017 a 2021; Evidenciar o momento do diagnóstico de sífilis materna e a inclusão do parceiro no plano terapêutico em uma cidade do interior da Bahia em 2017 a 2021; Identificar a faixa etária, o sexo, a evolução e a classificação clínica dos neonatos e lactentes notificados com SC em uma cidade do interior da Bahia no período de 2017 a 2021. Metodologia: Estudo descritivo, exploratório e quantitativo, a partir das informações disponibilizadas pelo SINAN, a respeito dos casos de SC ocorridos em um município do interior baiano no ano de 2017 a 2021. Resultados: 208 crianças foram investigadas, e houve a predominância acentuada de parceria sexual excluído da terapêutica, com 142 (68,27%) indivíduos. Demonstra-se um percentual majoritário de detecção até os 6 dias de vida, com 196 (94,23%) e 144 (83,24%) permanecendo com vida até o período da notificação e investigação.
