Resumo: This study aimed to analyze the scientific production about the safety culture in the context of health organizations. It is an integrative literature review, carried out in the databases: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval Sistem on-line (MEDLINE), Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL). Medical Subject Headings (MESH) descriptors were used: Culture, Health; Safety; Patients; Health Sciences Organizations and Descriptors (DeCS): Culture, Health, Safety; Patients; Organizations, selecting 24 articles. Two aspects of analysis were organized: the need to strengthen the intra-organizational dimensions recognized through the team's perceptions and managerial responsibilities as facilitators for the perpetuation of the safety culture. It is concluded that studies that reveal the perceptions and practices in safety in health organizations, become fundamental and help managers and supervisory leaders to tread the paths for safe practices, benefiting employees, organizations, patients and society in general.

(CINAHL). Research, Society and Development2020-11-02info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/962210.33448/rsd-v9i11.9622Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 No. 11; e249119622Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 Núm. 11; e249119622Research, Society and Development; v. 9 n. 11; e2491196222525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/9622/8492Copyright (c) 2020 Danubia Andressa da Silva Stigger; Klaus Nobre Stigger ; Jamila Geri Tomaschewski Barlem; Diéssica Roggia Piexak; Gabriela do Rosário Paloski; Janaina Sena Castanheira https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess Stigger, Danubia Andressa da Silva Stigger , Klaus Nobre Barlem, Jamila Geri Tomaschewski Piexak, Diéssica Roggia Paloski, Gabriela do RosárioCastanheira , Janaina Sena 2020-12-10T23:37:57Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/9622Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:31:51.207787Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
