Application of an experiment as a pedagogical resource to introduce astronomy teaching in the first grade of the basic teaching cycle

Resumo: | This work is a report on the application of an experiment to find a pedagogical resource that was both simple and playful, but capable of transmitting physical concepts behind astronomy to children who are starting the basic cycle of teaching astronomy. to promote their active participation. The work describes, in the form of a report, an activity in the classroom in which an experiment was carried out on the decomposition of white light and the role of a spectroscope for children in the first grade of primary cycle I. The experiment was built with elementary materials and low cost with the aim of allowing students to redo them on another occasion. The research developed in this activity sought to investigate how children behave when carrying out experimental activities in terms of participation, involvement, and motivation and to obtain data related to the previous knowledge they had about astronomy. Thus, the work brought elements to reflect the feasibility and importance of approaching physics knowledge in the initial series of the primary cycle. It was found that the level of learning was satisfactory and that the use of an experiment was an important aid tool for the teaching-learning process. |

El trabajo describe, en forma de informe, una actividad en el aula en la que se realizó un experimento sobre la descomposición de la luz blanca y el papel de un espectroscopio para niños de primer grado de ciclo primario I. El experimento fue construido con materiales elementales y de bajo costo con el objetivo de que los alumnos puedan rehacerlos en otra ocasión. La investigación desarrollada en esta actividad buscó investigar cómo se comportan los niños al realizar actividades experimentales en términos de participación, implicación y motivación y obtener datos relacionados con los conocimientos previos que tenían sobre astronomía. Así, el trabajo trajo elementos para reflexionar sobre la viabilidad y la importancia de abordar el conocimiento de la física en la serie inicial del ciclo primario. Se encontró que el nivel de aprendizaje fue satisfactorio y que el uso de un experimento fue una importante herramienta de ayuda para el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.Este trabalho é um relato da aplicação de um experimento com o objetivo buscar um recurso pedagógico que fosse ao mesmo tempo simples e lúdico mais que fosse capaz de transmitir conceitos físicos que estão por trás da astronomia às crianças que estão iniciando o ciclo básico de ensino de forma a promover a participação ativa delas. O trabalho descreve na forma de relato, uma atividade em sala de aula na qual foi realizada uma experiência sobre a decomposição da luz branca e o papel de um espectroscópio para crianças da primeira série do ciclo básico I. O experimento foi construído com material muito simples e de baixo custo com o objetivo de permitir que os alunos pudessem refazê-los em outra ocasião. A pesquisa desenvolvida nessa atividade buscou investigar como as crianças se portam diante da realização de atividades experimentais em termos de participação, envolvimento, motivação e obter dados relativos ao conhecimento prévio que possuíam sobre astronomia. Assim, o trabalho trouxe elementos para refletir a viabilidade e a importância de abordar conhecimentos de física nas séries iniciais do ciclo básico.
