Resumo: | How to think about youth today? What are your features? The purpose of this article is to discuss the issue of youth from the perspective of teachers and high school students in a state public school in Cascavel/PR. Initially, the metamorphoses from modern to post-modern values are highlighted, in order to, in a second moment, focus on the characteristics of the new generations and their youth groupings. Based on the theoretical-methodological framework of the sociology of everyday life by Michel Maffesoli, data from a field survey carried out with the aim of apprehending, through interviews, the observed youth of teachers and students are analyzed. Such results pointed towards a coexistence of modern and postmodern values and the need to think about pedagogical alternatives and the manifestation of new ways of becoming young in postmodernity. |

El propósito de este artículo es discutir el tema de la juventud en la perspectiva de profesores y estudiantes de secundaria en una escuela pública estadual en Cascavel/PR. En un primer momento, se destacan las metamorfosis de los valores modernos a los posmodernos, para, en un segundo momento, centrarse en las características de las nuevas generaciones y sus agrupaciones juveniles. Con base en el marco teórico-metodológico de la sociología de la vida cotidiana de Michel Maffesoli, se analizan los datos de una encuesta de campo realizada con el objetivo de aprehender, a través de entrevistas, la juventud observada de profesores y estudiantes. Tales resultados apuntaron hacia una coexistencia de valores modernos y posmodernos y la necesidad de pensar alternativas pedagógicas y la manifestación de nuevas formas de hacerse joven en la posmodernidad.Como pensar a juventude hoje? Quais são as suas características? O objetivo deste artigo é discutir a questão da juventude na perspectiva de professores e de alunos do ensino médio num colégio da rede pública estadual de ensino de Cascavel/PR. Inicialmente são destacadas as metamorfoses nos valores modernos para os pós-modernos, para, num segundo momento, focalizar as características das novas gerações e seus agrupamentos juvenis. A partir do referencial teórico-metodológico da sociologia do cotidiano de Michel Maffesoli são analisados os dados de uma pesquisa de campo realizada com o objetivo de apreender, por meio de entrevistas, as percepções de juventude de professores e de alunos.
