Resumo: The Amazon forest has a high diversity of Non-Timber Forest Products, which provide considerable support to local communities through food, medicines, plants of cultural importance, material for shelter and as a source of income, the sustainable exploitation of these products can contribute to the development of the region and for the well-being of the populations that depend on these resources for their survival, in addition, they are important products for the development of the bioeconomy in the Amazon. Exudates are among these products and can be of great economic, social and cultural value. The objective of this work was to identify, characterize the current state of information available for a series of species and discuss the potential use for different types of exudates. Using literature review as a methodology. As for the type, they can be classified as resin, latex, gum and sap. Its main uses are in folk medicine, food and cosmetics. They are found in abundance in the forests and have several potentialities, requiring more scientific studies to direct their exploitation in a sustainable way and bring economic return mainly to the traditional populations that inhabit these regions.

Los exudados se encuentran entre estos productos y pueden tener un gran valor económico, social y cultural. El objetivo de este trabajo fue identificar, caracterizar el estado actual de la información disponible para una serie de especies y discutir el uso potencial para diferentes tipos de exudados. Usar la revisión de la literatura como metodologia. En cuanto al tipo, se pueden clasificar en resina, látex, goma y savia. Sus principales usos son en medicina popular, alimentación y cosmética. Se encuentran en abundância en los bosques y tienen várias potencialidades, lo que requiere más estudios científicos para orientar su explotación de manera sostenible y traer retorno económico principalmente a las poblaciones tradicionales que habitan estas regiones.A floresta Amazônica possui uma alta diversidade de Produtos Florestais Não Madeireiros, que fornecem suporte considerável para comunidades locais através de alimentos, medicamentos, plantas de importância cultural, material para abrigo e como fonte de renda, a exploração sustentável desses produtos podem contribuir para o desenvolvimento econômico da região e para o bem-estar das populações que dependem desses recursos para sua sobrevivência, além disso, são produtos importantes para o desenvolvimento da bioeconomia na Amazônia. Os exsudatos estão entre esses produtos e podem ser de grande valor econômico, social e cultural. O objetivo deste trabalho foi identificar, caracterizar o estado atual de informações disponíveis para uma série de espécies e discutir o potencial de uso para diferentes tipos de exsudatos. Utilizando como metodologia revisão bibliográfica. Quanto ao tipo, podem ser classificados como resina, látex, goma e seiva. Seus principais usos são na medicina popular, alimentação e cosméticos.
