Resumo: Dental treatments with aesthetic involvement drive the market towards an increase in the quality and diversity of materials, aiming to provide the highest satisfaction for both the patient and the dentist. Faced with limitations in metal-ceramic treatments, fully ceramic systems have evolved, enabling excellent aesthetic and functional results when appropriately indicated. The purpose of this case report is to describe a clinical case of oral rehabilitation in an aesthetic area through the replacement of a metal-ceramic crown with pure lithium disilicate ceramic (E-Max) for tooth 22. For the clinical success of the treatment, it was necessary to perform teeth whitening and dental recontouring with composite resin of the adjacent teeth prior to the fabrication of the definitive crown. Considering the techniques and materials used, the treatment performed was able to provide a result of clinical excellence, especially in this region that demands higher aesthetic requirements, offering satisfaction and restoring the patient's self-esteem.

Frente a las limitaciones existentes en los tratamientos metalocerámicos, se han desarrollado sistemas totalmente cerámicos, posibilitando resultados estéticos y funcionales de excelencia cuando están bien indicados. El propósito de este informe de caso es describir un caso clínico de rehabilitación oral en una zona estética mediante la sustitución de una corona metalocerámica por cerámica pura en disilicato de litio (E-Max) para el diente 22. Para el éxito clínico del tratamiento, fue necesario realizar el blanqueamiento y la reanatomización dental con resina compuesta de los dientes adyacentes antes de la confección de la corona definitiva. Considerando las técnicas y materiales utilizados, el tratamiento realizado fue capaz de proporcionar un resultado de excelencia clínica, especialmente en esta región que demanda mayores requisitos estéticos, ofreciendo satisfacción y recuperando la autoestima del paciente.Os tratamentos odontológicos com envolvimento estético impulsionam o mercado para o aumento na qualidade e diversidade dos materiais, com intuito de proporcionar a maior satisfação tanto do paciente quanto do cirurgião-dentista. Diante das limitações existentes nos tratamentos metalocerâmicos, os sistemas totalmente cerâmicos se desenvolveram, possibilitando resultados estéticos e funcionais de excelência, quando bem indicados. O objetivo desse relato de caso é descrever um caso clínico de reabilitação oral em área estética por meio da substituição de uma coroa metalocerâmica por cerâmica pura em dissilicato de lítio (E-Max) da unidade 22. Para o sucesso clínico do tratamento foi necessário realizar o clareamento e reanatomização dental com resina composta dos dentes adjacentes previamente à confecção da coroa definitiva.
