Resumo: | This study aimed to identify the main eating patterns of professors at a University and to associate them with socioeconomic factors. The population consisted of 734 lecturers, with a sample selected that totaled 147 individuals of both sexes, aged 22 to 50 years old. The data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews and the survey of food consumption made by 24-hour recall. Eating patterns were identified by factor analysis by main components, followed by orthogonal varimax rotation. The adequacy of the data to the factor analysis was confirmed by the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin coefficient (KMO) and the Barltlet sphericity test to estimate the variables in relation to eating patterns. Three eating patterns were identified: urban, popular and traditional regional. The urban pattern had greater adherence to the occupation time factor and less adherence to the race factor. The popular pattern had a greater association of occupation time and less association with race. The traditional regional pattern shows more evidence of the race factor and less evidence of the marital status factor. The knowledge of the variables associated with the eating patterns of this study can contribute to the planning of the actions of healthy practices in the studied public. |

O padrão tradicional regional maior evidência do fator raça e menor evidência do fator estado civil. Research, Society and Development2022-04-29info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/2919310.33448/rsd-v11i6.29193Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 No. 6; e32611629193Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 Núm. 6; e32611629193Research, Society and Development; v. 11 n. 6; e326116291932525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/29193/25261Copyright (c) 2022 Rafaella Maria Monteiro Sampaio; Ana Carolina Montenegro Cavalcante; Bruno Maurício Alves de Aguiar; Janilma Marques de Almada; Anna Carolina Sampaio Leonardo; Mariana Pimentel Gomes Souza; Soraia Pinheiro Machado Arruda; Francisco José Maia Pintohttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSampaio, Rafaella Maria MonteiroCavalcante, Ana Carolina Montenegro Aguiar, Bruno Maurício Alves de Almada, Janilma Marques deLeonardo, Anna Carolina Sampaio Souza, Mariana Pimentel Gomes Arruda, Soraia Pinheiro Machado Pinto, Francisco José Maia 2022-05-13T18:04:10Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/29193Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:46:20.490438Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false |
