Resumo: Objetive: This study aimed to report an experience in simulation in Integrated Multidisciplinary Health Residency Program and its contribution to patient safety. Methods: Experience report on the use of simulation as a teaching and learning method for a multidisciplinary residents teamwork. Results: The activity was divided into three stages, a first stage was the brief, represented by the preparation of the scenario, the second, by the execution of simulation activity and the third, the moment of debriefing, with the total duration of activity of 48 minutes. Conclusion: Simulation contributed to learning by enabling a better integration between theoretical and practical knowledge, clinical reasoning development, effective communication, leadership and teamwork. Simulation allowed the development of technical and non-technical skills, allowing greater integration between professionals from different areas and instrumentalizing teamwork, contributed to improve the quality and safety of health care.

Métodos: Informe de una experiencia sobre el uso de la simulación clínica como método de enseñanza y aprendizaje para residentes multiprofesionales. Resultados: La actividad se divide en tres etapas, la primera, del brief, representada por la preparación del escenario, la segunda, es la ejecución de la actividad de simulación clínica y la tercera el momento de debriefing, la duración de tiempo total de esa intervención fue de 48 minutos. Conclusión: La simulación clínica contribuyó para el aprendizaje al permitir una mayor integración del conocimiento teórico y práctico, el desarrollo del raciocinio clínico, la comunicación eficaz, el liderazgo y el trabajo en equipo. Además, la simulación permitió el desarrollo de habilidades técnicas y no técnicas, permitiendo una mayor integración entre profesionales de diferentes áreas de acción e instrumentalizando el trabajo en equipo, contribuyendo para mejorar la calidad y la seguridad de la atención al paciente.Objetivo: Relatar a experiência em Simulação Realística na Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde e a sua contribuição relacionada à segurança do paciente. Métodos: Relato de experiência sobre a utilização da Simulação Realística como método de ensino e aprendizagem para residentes multiprofissionais. Resultados: A atividade foi dividida em três etapas, sendo a primeira etapa o brief, representada pelo preparo do cenário, a segunda pela execução da atividade de Simulação Realística e a terceira, o momento de debriefing, sendo o tempo total de duração da atividade de 48 minutos. Conclusão: A Simulação Realística contribuiu para o aprendizado possibilitando maior integração entre conhecimento teórico-prático, desenvolvimento de raciocínio clínico, comunicação efetiva, liderança e trabalho em equipe.
