Curricular transpositions and conception of practice in the pedagogical projects of undergraduate courses in chemistry at a Federal Institute

Resumo: This manuscript aimed to present the conceptions of practice identified from an investigation on the initial training of teachers in three degrees in chemistry in academic units of the federal education, professional and technological network in Pernambuco, Brazil. The pedagogical projects of the three courses were analyzed in which the conception of practice was particularly observed from the curricular components "practice as a curricular component" and "supervised internship". The qualitative research of the documentary analysis type had the data analyzed based on the technique of content analysis (Bardin, 2011; Moraes, 1999). The data were categorized thematically and the analysis was anchored both in the theoretical framework and in the legal devices that guide the training and teachers in Brazil. As results, it can be affirmed that the PPC investigated have an innovative curriculum, however hybrid, because it maintains the traditional form of disciplinary organization, which has been configured as a contradiction, which, however, is considered acceptable in the movement and moment of curricular changes. PPC meets legal requirements, as well as the workload of both PCC and ES, but the practices are not clear enough, or a more detailed description of them almost always cannot be verified. Moreover, the conceptions of practice are almost always diffuse, it does not have its theoretical foundations clearly declared.

Se analizaron los proyectos pedagógicos de los tres cursos en los que se observó particularmente la concepción de la práctica a partir de los componentes curriculares "la práctica como componente curricular" y las "prácticas supervisadas". La investigación cualitativa del tipo de análisis documental analizó los datos basados en la técnica de análisis de contenidos (Bardin, 2011; Moraes, 1999). Los datos se clasificaron temáticamente y el análisis se ancló tanto en el marco teórico como en los dispositivos jurídicos que guían la formación y los profesores en Brasil. Como resultados, se puede afirmar que el PPC investigado tiene un currículo innovador, por híbrido que sea, porque mantiene la forma tradicional de organización disciplinaria, que se ha configurado como una contradicción, que, sin embargo, se considera aceptable en el movimiento y el momento de los cambios curriculares. PPC cumple con los requisitos legales, así como la carga de trabajo de PCC y ES, pero las prácticas no son lo suficientemente claras, o una descripción más detallada de ellos casi siempre no se puede verificar. Además, las concepciones de la práctica son casi siempre difusas, no tiene sus fundamentos teóricos claramente declarados.Neste manuscrito objetivou-se apresentar as concepções de prática identificadas a partir de uma investigação sobre a formação inicial de professores em três licenciaturas em química em unidades acadêmicas da rede federal de educação, profissional e tecnológica em Pernambuco, Brasil. Foram analisados os projetos pedagógicos dos três cursos em que observou-se particularmente a concepção de prática a partir dos componentes curriculares “prática como componente curricular” e “estágio supervisionado”. A pesquisa qualitativa do tipo análise documental teve os dados analisados com base na técnica de análise de conteúdo (Bardin, 2011; Moraes, 1999). Os dados foram categorizados tematicamente e a análise foi ancorada tanto no referencial teórico quanto nos dispositivos legais que orientam a formação e professores no Brasil. Como resultados pode-se afirmar que os PPC investigados possuem currículo inovador, no entanto híbrido, porque mantem a tradicional forma de organização disciplinar, o que se configurou uma contradição, que, no entanto, considera-se aceitável no movimento e momento de mudanças curriculares. Os PPC atendem aos requisitos legais, quanto a carga horária tanto da PCC quanto do ES, mas as práticas não estão suficientes claras, ou uma descrição mais detalhada delas quase sempre não pode ser verificada.
