Didactics and Social Pedagogy: weaving dialogues and identifying contributions to professional practice

Resumo: | The present article is situated in the theoretical-practical context of Social Pedagogy, Didactics, and social-community insertion, and aims to analyze and reflect on the author's experiences in the mentioned fields, dialoguing with the body of knowledge of the mentioned areas. From a qualitative approach and the methodology of the experience report, the author focused on the relationship between teaching practice, higher education, and its social and communitarian insertion, weaving an implicit dialogue of theoretical and practical character between Didactics and Social Pedagogy. It sought to reflect on some contents and theoretical references of Didactics, emphasizing its contributions to the professional practice of the author and the formation of students. It is known that Social Pedagogy brought many contributions to Pedagogy, considering that the latter, as far as the Brazilian academic tradition is concerned, has always been induced in its studies to focus more on school instruction processes, which restricted the theoretical and methodological reach of the referred science, being almost always associated to the school area. The paper walks through this background issue and focuses on the relevance of Social Pedagogy, in the dialogue and interface with Didactics, showing in the educational practice and training processes experienced by the author how this area can produce a set of reflections that problematize training and pedagogical practice, bringing to light dimensions of education beyond technical, instructional, and school issues. The reflections and analysis of the experience in question pointed to the understanding that Social Pedagogy, in its relationship with Didactics, can contribute to the production of knowledge and ground skills and competencies that amplify the possibilities of knowledge and appropriation of the reality of education. |

A partir de un enfoque cualitativo y de la metodología del informe de experiencia, el autor se centró en la relación entre la práctica docente, la educación superior y su inserción social y comunitaria, tejiendo un diálogo implícito de carácter teórico y práctico entre la Didáctica y la Pedagogía Social. Trató de reflejar algunos contenidos y referencias teóricas de la Didáctica, destacando sus aportaciones a la práctica profesional del autor y a la formación de los alumnos. Se sabe que la Pedagogía Social trajo muchas contribuciones a la Pedagogía, considerando que esta última, en lo que se refiere a la tradición académica brasileña, siempre fue inducida en sus estudios a centrarse más en los procesos de instrucción escolar, lo que restringió el alcance teórico y metodológico de la referida ciencia, estando casi siempre asociada al área escolar. El trabajo camina en medio de esta cuestión fundamental y se centra en la relevancia de la Pedagogía Social, en el diálogo y la interfaz con la Didáctica, mostrando en la práctica educativa y los procesos de formación experimentados por el autor cómo esta área puede producir un conjunto de reflexiones que problematizan la formación y la práctica pedagógica, sacando a la luz dimensiones de la educación más allá de las cuestiones técnicas, instructivas y escolares. Las reflexiones y el análisis de la experiencia en cuestión apuntaron a la comprensión de que la Pedagogía Social, en su relación con la Didáctica, puede contribuir a la producción de conocimientos y fundamentar habilidades y competencias que amplíen las posibilidades de conocimiento y apropiación de la realidad educativa.O presente artigo situa-se no contexto teórico-prático da Pedagogia Social, Didática e da inserção sociocomunitária e tem como objetivo analisar e refletir as experiências do autor nos referidos campos, dialogando com os corpos de conhecimentos das referidas áreas. A partir de uma abordagem qualitativa e da metodologia do relato de experiência, o autor focalizou a relação entre a prática docente, o ensino superior e sua inserção social e comunitária, tecendo um diálogo implicado e de caráter teórico-prático entre a Didática e a Pedagogia Social. Buscou reflexionar alguns conteúdos e referenciais teóricos da Didática, enfatizando suas contribuições à prática profissional do autor e a formação discente. Sabe-se que a Pedagogia Social trouxe muitas contribuições à Pedagogia, considerando que esta última, no que tange à tradição acadêmica brasileira, sempre foi induzida em seus estudos a se centrar com maior ênfase em processos de instrução escolar, o que restringiu o alcance tanto teórico como metodológico da referida ciência, sendo quase sempre associada à área escolar. O trabalho trafega em meio a essa questão de fundo e focaliza a relevância da Pedagogia Social, no diálogo e na interface com a Didática, evidenciando na prática educativa e nos processos de formação vividos pelo autor como essa área pode produzir um conjunto de reflexões que problematizam a formação e a prática pedagógica, trazendo à tona dimensões da educação para além das questões de ordem técnica, instrucional e escolar.
