Reading and writing in the early grades of elementary school: Challenges and learning in two schools in the municipality of Belém, Pará State (PA), Brazil

Resumo: When we start learning to read and write, we depend on a complex integration of linguistic, neuropsychological and intellectual factors, as well as affective and socio-environmental factors. In the early years of school life, reading and writing are essential tools for a child's all-round development. From the authors' perspective, there is a need not only for activities related to literacy, but also for different themes and practices to be discussed and contextualized in school spaces. We report here on the experience of educational practices carried out in the project "Reading and Writing in the early grades of elementary school" in two public schools in Belém-Pará. Pedagogical practices were developed in which students performed various readings and sequenced words through games, games and playful dynamics. Topics related to reading and writing were discussed in the classroom, providing students with practical learning in a fun and meaningful way to improve their knowledge of these topics. The activities developed are essential for the development of literacy and promote new teaching practices that enhance learning.

En los primeros años de la vida escolar, la lectura y la escritura son herramientas esenciales para el desarrollo integral del niño Desde la perspectiva de los autores, es necesario no sólo realizar actividades relacionadas con la alfabetización, sino también debatir y contextualizar diferentes temas y prácticas en los espacios escolares. Relatamos aquí la experiencia de prácticas pedagógicas realizadas en el proyecto "Lectura y Escritura en los primeros grados de la enseñanza primaria" en dos escuelas públicas de Belém-Pará. Se desarrollaron prácticas pedagógicas en las que los alumnos realizaron diversas lecturas y secuenciaron palabras a través de juegos, lúdicas y dinámicas lúdicas. Se trataron temas relacionados con la lectura y la escritura en el aula, proporcionando a los alumnos un aprendizaje práctico de forma divertida y significativa para mejorar sus conocimientos sobre estas materias. Las actividades desarrolladas son esenciales para el desarrollo de la lectoescritura y promueven nuevas prácticas docentes que mejoran el aprendizaje.Ao iniciar a aprendizagem da leitura e escrita, dependemos de uma complexa integração linguística, neuropsicológica, intelectual, além dos fatores afetivos e socioambientais. Nos anos iniciais da vida escolar, a leitura e a escrita são ferramentas essenciais para o desenvolvimento integral da criança. Na perspectiva das autoras, há necessidade não apenas de atividades relacionadas à alfabetização, mas também de temas e práticas diferenciadas para discussão e contextualização nos espaços escolares. Relatamos aqui a experiência de práticas educativas realizadas no projeto “Leitura e Escrita nas séries iniciais do ensino fundamental” em duas escolas públicas de Belém-Pará. Foram desenvolvidas práticas pedagógicas onde os alunos realizam diversas leituras e sequenciavam palavras por meio de jogos, brincadeiras e dinâmicas lúdicas. Temas relacionados à leitura e escrita foram discutidos em sala de aula, proporcionando aos alunos um aprendizado prático de forma divertida e significativa para aprimorar seu conhecimento sobre esses temas.
