Resumo: | Bulk Fill resins, or single fill resins, can be classified according to very fluid consistency or resins of regular consistency. In general, their main advantage is the ease of the technique, which greatly reduces clinical time; in addition, they present as a main characteristic the decrease of the polymerization shrinkage, when compared to conventional resins, which allows the use of these materials in layers of 4-5 mm. The objectives of this review were to evaluate the composition of bulk fill resins, check its general properties, describe the polymerization dynamics as well as report its clinical performance. A literature review was performed through an online search in the databases: PubMed, Google academic, virtual health library (VHL), LILACS, SCIELO AND BIREME, using the descriptors: Bulk Fill resins, aesthetics and properties, which were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. From the bibliographic analysis it was possible to notice that the resins presented good physical-chemical properties, such as hardness, resistance and in relation to their composition Bulk fill resins are constituted by a minimized percentage of inorganic particles and a greater amount of organic matrix, in addition , these show a decreased polymerization contraction. Regarding their use in the dental clinic, it was found that these resins have a shorter clinical time. |

Regarding their use in the dental clinic, it was found that these resins have a shorter clinical time. Research, Society and Development2020-05-12info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/413010.33448/rsd-v9i7.4130Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 No. 7; e266974130Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 Núm. 7; e266974130Research, Society and Development; v. 9 n. 7; e2669741302525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/4130/3424Copyright (c) 2020 Guereth Alexsanderson Oliveira Carvalho, Josué Junior Araujo Pieroteinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCarvalho, Guereth Alexsanderson OliveiraPierote, Josué Junior Araujo2020-08-20T18:05:03Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/4130Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:28:05.133783Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false |
