Science, Technology, Society and Environment (CTSA) Relationships in the Teaching of Natural Sciences: a mapping on Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations in the period from 2013 to 2019

Resumo: The acceleration of environmental degradation, poverty and the relations between consumption and production modes it awakened conscience on the part of society to the teaching that took into account the relations between Science, Technology, Society and Environment (STSE) for the citizen's scientific and environmental training. In order to understand how these relations are developed in the ​​Natural Sciences area, we present in this article the result of a research of the type state of knowledge carried out at the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) in the period from 2013 to 2019 that had as aim to know as STSE relations has been developed by researchers in this area of knowledge. We selected 44 productions that were analyzed according to Fiorentini. The data revealed that since 2015, the number of researches has not varied much in the examined years. The Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp), Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) and Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS) were the higher education institutions that developed the largest number of  research and the STSE relations are developed by researchers, mostly by construction and application of teaching sequences whose themes are socioscientific issues.

La aceleración de la degradación ambiental, la pobreza y las relaciones entre los modos de consumo y producción, generó la conciencia por parte de la sociedad para constituir una visión de la enseñanza que tomara en cuenta las relaciones entre Ciencia, Tecnología, Sociedad y Ambiente (CTSA) para la formación científica y medioambiental del ciudadano. Para comprender cómo se desarrollan estas relaciones en el área de las Ciencias Naturales, presentamos en este artículo el resultado de una investigación sobre el estado del conocimiento realizada en la Biblioteca Digital Brasileña de Tesis y Disertaciones (BDTD) en el período de 2013 a 2019 que tuvo como objetivo conocer cómo la temática CTSA ha sido desarrollada por investigadores en esta área de conocimiento. Seleccionamos 44 producciones que fueron analizadas según Fiorentini. Los datos revelaron que a partir del año 2015, el número de investigaciones varió poco a lo largo de los años, y las instituciones de educación superior que desarrollaron más investigación fueron la Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp), Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) y Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS). Las relaciones CTSA son desarrolladas por los investigadores, en su mayoría a partir de la construcción y aplicación de secuencias temáticas didácticas que son las cuestiones sociocientíficas.A partir da metade do século XX, o desenvolvimento científico-tecnológico se intensificou e a atividade industrial tornou-se mais sofisticada, comprometendo assim, o meio ambiente. A aceleração da degradação ambiental, a pobreza e as relações entre os modos de consumo e produção, fez surgir a tomada de consciência por parte da sociedade para constituir uma visão do ensino que levasse em consideração as relações entre Ciência, Tecnologia, Sociedade e Ambiente (CTSA) para a formação científica e ambiental do cidadão. Com a finalidade de compreender como essas relações são desenvolvidas na área das Ciências da Natureza apresentamos nesse artigo o resultado de uma pesquisa do tipo Estado do Conhecimento realizada na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD) no período de 2013 a 2019 que teve como objetivo conhecer como as relações CTSA vem sendo desenvolvida pelos pesquisadores dessa área do conhecimento. Selecionamos 44 produções que foram analisados de acordo com Fiorentini. Os dados revelaram que a partir do ano 2015 o número de pesquisas variou pouco ao longo dos anos, as instituições de ensino superior que mais desenvolveram pesquisas foram a Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp), Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) e a Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS).
