The Vargas government and the reordering of professional technical education: the implementation of the Industrial Liceu in Ceará

Resumo: With the Revolution of the 1930s, when Getúlio Vargas became president, a series of profound changes began in the organization of Brazilian society. A new phase in the country's history, which brought significant changes to the educational project in Brazil, was then inaugurated. This article intends to discuss some educational reforms approved during the years of 1930 to 1945, when the country was governed by Getúlio Vargas, prioritizing the reorganization of professional technical education. For the development of the present study, the qualitative approach was chosen, using bibliographic research as a research method. For this, the reforms that reordered the Brazilian educational system during this period are initially presented, seeking to reflect on the legislation that has directly impacted the professional technical education. Finally, it is concluded that the reordering of professional technical education has proved, in practice, a way of promoting the workers formation according to the labor market needs, where the dualism of Brazilian education has been maintained.

Una nueva fase en la historia del país, que trae cambios significativos para el proyecto educativo de Brasil, fue entonces inaugurada. Este artículo pretende discutir sobre algunas reformas educativas aprobadas durante los años de 1930 a 1945, período en que el país fue gobernado por Getúlio Vargas, priorizando la reorganización de la enseñanza técnica profesional. Para el desarrollo del presente estudio, se eligió el abordaje cualitativo, utilizando investigación bibliográfica como método de investigación. Para ello, se presentan inicialmente las reformas que reordenaron el sistema educativo brasileño durante ese período, buscando reflexionar sobre la legislación que impactó directamente en la enseñanza técnica profesional. Por último, se concluye que el reordenamiento de la enseñanza técnica profesional, se reveló en la práctica una forma de promover la formación de mano de obra para las necesidades del mercado de trabajo, donde se mantuvo el carácter dualista de la educación brasileña.Com a Revolução da década de 30, quando Getúlio Vargas se tornou presidente, iniciou-se uma série de mudanças profundas na organização da sociedade brasileira. Uma nova fase na história do país, que trouxe mudanças significativas para o projeto educacional do Brasil, foi então inaugurada. Este artigo pretende discutir sobre algumas reformas educacionais aprovadas durante os anos de 1930 a 1945, período em que o país foi governado por Getúlio Vargas, priorizando a reorganização do ensino técnico profissional. Para o desenvolvimento do presente estudo, foi escolhida a abordagem qualitativa, utilizando-se pesquisa bibliográfica como método de pesquisa. Para isso, apresentam-se inicialmente as reformas que reordenaram o sistema educacional brasileiro durante esse período, buscando refletir sobre a legislação que impactou diretamente no ensino técnico profissional.
