Health education during prenatal care for the prevention and control of gestational hypertension: an experience report

Resumo: | This study aimed to report a health education action with hypertensive pregnant women monitored in prenatal care at a health unit, whose proposal was to mitigate the problems of gestational hypertension from an intervention aimed at changing habits. It is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, of the experience report type, which used the Theory of Problematization as a basis from the implementation of the Arco de Maguerez, which is subdivided into five stages: observation of reality; survey of key points; theorization; hypothesis development; and, return to reality. The main results obtained in the study showed that many pregnant women still maintained harmful habits to their health, mainly linked to unbalanced food and physical inactivity, directly interfering in pressure changes. From the intervention performed, these women were sensitized about the importance of self-care for the safe maintenance of pregnancy, in addition to promoting autonomy and individual empowerment. |

Se trata de un estudio descriptivo con enfoque cualitativo, del tipo relato de experiencia, que utilizó como base la Teoría de la Problematización a partir de la implementación del Arco de Maguerez, el cual se subdivide en cinco etapas: observación de la realidad; estudio de puntos clave; teorización; desarrollo de hipótesis; y volver a la realidad. Los principales resultados obtenidos en el estudio mostraron que muchas mujeres embarazadas aún mantenían hábitos nocivos para su salud, principalmente ligados a un desequilibrio alimentario y a la inactividad física, interfiriendo directamente en los cambios de presión arterial. A partir de la intervención realizada, estas mujeres fueron sensibilizadas sobre la importancia del autocuidado para el mantenimiento seguro del embarazo, además de promover la autonomía y el empoderamiento individual.Este estudo objetivou relatar uma ação de educação em saúde com gestantes hipertensas acompanhadas no pré-natal em uma unidade de saúde, cuja proposta perpassava pela mitigação dos agravos da hipertensão gestacional a partir de uma intervenção voltada a mudança de hábitos. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo com abordagem qualitativa, do tipo relato de experiência, que utilizou como base a Teoria da Problematização a partir da implementação do Arco de Maguerez, que subdivide-se em cinco etapas: observação da realidade; levantamento de pontos-chave; teorização; desenvolvimento de hipóteses; e, retorno à realidade. Os principais resultados obtidos no estudo evidenciaram que muitas gestantes ainda mantinham hábitos prejudiciais à saúde, principalmente ligados ao desbalanceamento alimentar e ao sedentarismo, interferindo diretamente nas alterações pressóricas.
