Sexuality in adolescence and the use of contraceptive methods

Resumo: | The present study aimed to know the view of adolescents about safe sex practices and the most present influences when choosing the contraceptive method. This was an integrative review where the data search was carried out from April to May 2022, through a search in the databases: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and Database on Nursing (BDENF). The inclusion criteria used were empirical scientific articles from research with human beings, master's dissertation and doctoral theses, Brazilian studies, in Portuguese, full text available electronically, free of charge, and studies that addressed the proposed theme dated in the period of 2018 to 2022. Works that did not meet the guiding question of the research and studies in duplicates in more than one database were excluded. In addition, 11 articles were selected for analysis of the integrative review, and for better discussion they were divided into three categories: The influences on sexuality and the impact of early sexarche among adolescents, knowledge of adolescents about preventive measures related to the practice of sex insurance, and the family, school and health services in the dissemination of information focused on sexuality and the use of contraceptive methods among adolescents. Finally, the importance of the partnership between the three links that involve adolescents was highlighted: school, family and health services. |

Esta fue una revisión integradora donde la búsqueda de datos se realizó de abril a mayo de 2022, mediante la búsqueda en las bases de datos: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) y Database on Nursing (BDENF). Los criterios de inclusión utilizados fueron artículos científicos empíricos de investigación con seres humanos, disertaciones de maestría y doctorado, estudios brasileños, en portugués, texto completo disponible electrónicamente, de forma gratuita, y estudios que abordaron el tema propuesto con fecha en el período de 2018 a 2022 Se excluyeron los trabajos que no cumplieron con la pregunta orientadora de la investigación y los estudios por duplicado en más de una base de datos. Además, 11 artículos fueron seleccionados para el análisis de la revisión integradora, y para una mejor discusión fueron divididos en tres categorías: Las influencias en la sexualidad y el impacto de la sexarquia temprana entre los adolescentes, el conocimiento de los adolescentes sobre las medidas preventivas relacionadas con la práctica del sexo seguros, y el familia, escuela y servicios de salud en la difusión de información enfocada en la sexualidad y el uso de métodos anticonceptivos entre los adolescentes. Finalmente, se destacó la importancia de la alianza entre los tres eslabones que involucran a los adolescentes: escuela, familia y servicios de salud.O presente estudo teve como objetivo conhecer a visão dos adolescentes acerca das práticas de sexo seguro e as influências mais presentes no momento da escolha do método contraceptivo. Tratou-se de uma revisão integrativa onde a busca de dados foi realizada no período de abril a maio de 2022, mediante a pesquisa nas bases de dados: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) e Base de dados em Enfermagem (BDENF). Os critérios de inclusão utilizados foram artigos científicos empíricos provenientes de pesquisas com seres humanos, dissertação de mestrado e teses de doutorado, estudos brasileiros, no idioma português, texto completo disponível eletronicamente, de forma gratuita e estudos que abordavam a temática proposta datados no período de 2018 a 2022. Foram excluídos os trabalhos que não atendiam a questão norteadora da pesquisa e estudos em duplicatas em mais de uma base de dados. Além disso, foram selecionados 11 artigos para análise da revisão integrativa, sendo que para melhor discussão foram divididos em três categorias: As influências acerca da sexualidade e o impacto da sexarca precoce entre os adolescentes, conhecimento dos adolescentes sobre medidas preventivas relacionadas a prática de sexo seguro, e a família, a escola e os serviços de saúde na disseminação de informações voltadas para a sexualidade e o uso de métodos contraceptivos entre os adolescentes.
