Socio-Structural factors related to young people seeking HIV/AIDS testing: An integrative review

Resumo: Objective: To investigate in the literature the socio-structural factors present in the lives of 15- to 24-year-olds who seek a health service to perform the HIV/AIDS serological test. Methodology: This is an Integrative Literature Review (RIL) study with a qualitative approach, delimited by the research question: What are the socio-structural factors that influence young people aged 15 to 24 years to seek a health service to perform the test? HIV/AIDS serology ?. Health Sciences databases were used: PUBMED (United States National Library of Medicine), BDENF (Nursing Database), LILACS (Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences) and MEDLINE (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online). After adding filters and using inclusion and exclusion factors, a sample of 30 articles was obtained, which were categorized according to the MSEM. Results and Discussion: The most cited factors were: low education level, age group, economic insecurity, unstable housing, family conflicts and transactional sex. Also highlighted were the relationships that show vulnerability, such as sexual violence, marginalization, social exclusion, gender issues, social support, and family and other social groups. Final considerations: Finally, the socio-structural factors that lead young people from 15 to 24 years of age to seek an HIV/AIDS testing service, permeate individual, community, and even political issues, thus involving the entire social sphere in which they young people are inserted.

Metodología: Se trata de un estudio de Revisión Integrativa de la Literatura (EIR) con enfoque cualitativo, delimitado por la pregunta de investigación: ¿Cuáles son los factores socioestructurales que influyen en los jóvenes de 15 a 24 años para buscar un servicio de salud para realizar la prueba? ¿Serología VIH/SIDA ?. Se utilizaron bases de datos de Ciencias de la Salud: PUBMED (Biblioteca Nacional de Medicina de los Estados Unidos), BDENF (Base de Datos de Enfermería), LILACS (Literatura Latinoamericana y del Caribe en Ciencias de la Salud) y MEDLINE (Sistema de Análisis y Recuperación de Literatura Médica en Línea). Luego de agregar filtros y utilizar factores de inclusión y exclusión, se obtuvo una muestra de 30 artículos, los cuales fueron categorizados según el MSEM. Resultados y Discusión: Los factores más citados fueron: bajo nivel educativo, grupo de edad, inseguridad económica, vivienda inestable, conflictos familiares y sexo transaccional. También se destacaron las relaciones que muestran vulnerabilidad, como la violencia sexual, la marginación, la exclusión social, la problemática de género, el apoyo social, la familia y otros grupos sociales. Consideraciones finales: Finalmente, los factores socioestructurales que llevan a los jóvenes de 15 a 24 años a buscar un servicio de pruebas de VIH/SIDA, impregnan la problemática individual, comunitaria e incluso política, involucrando así a todo el ámbito social en el que se encuentran jóvenes. se insertan personas.Objetivo: Investigar na literatura os fatores socioestruturais presente na vida dos jovens de 15 a 24 anos que buscam um serviço de saúde para realizar o teste sorológico do HIV/AIDS. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo de Revisão Integrativa da Literatura (RIL) com abordagem qualitativa, delimitada pela questão de pesquisa: Quais os fatores socioestruturais que influenciam os jovens de 15 a 24 anos a buscar um serviço de saúde para realizar o teste de sorologia do HIV/AIDS?. Utilizaram-se as bases de dados das Ciências da Saúde: PUBMED (United States National Library of Medicine), BDENF (Base de Dados de Enfermagem), LILACS (Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde) e MEDLINE (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online). Após a adição de filtros e utilização de fatores de inclusão e exclusão, obteve-se uma amostra de 30 artigos, que foram categorizados de acordo com o MSEM. Resultados e Discussão: Os fatores mais citados foram: nível de escolaridade baixo, faixa etária, insegurança econômica, moradia instável, conflitos familiares e sexo transacional. Destacaram-se também as relações que evidenciam a vulnerabilidade, como violência sexual, marginalização, exclusão social, questões de gênero, suporte social, e familiar e outros grupos sociais.
