Resumo: To report the experience about the formation process of founding students of the Academic League of Urgency and Emergency. This is an account of the experience of students in the nursing course. The educational activities of the Academic League of Urgency and Emergency of a Public University of the State of Minas Gerais, were conducted by fifteen students and three teachers and took place between the months of October to December 2019. The theoretical and practical contents were conducted by teachers and health professionals with expertise in the subject. The active and interactive pedagogy used in the events favored the formation of critical and socially responsible students to clinical situations that involve the population. The University's Academic Urgency and Emergency League was founded through a meeting held with five undergraduate nursing students, who shared a common ideal: studying and researching urgency and emergency. The initiative to create the Academic League provided a training of qualified professionals to directly meet the demands of society.

Se trata de un relato de la experiencia de los estudiantes del curso de enfermería. Las actividades educativas de la Liga Académica de Urgencia y Emergencia de una Universidad Pública del Estado de Minas Gerais, fueron realizadas por quince estudiantes y tres docentes y se desarrollaron entre los meses de octubre a diciembre de 2019. Los contenidos teóricos y prácticos fueron realizados por docentes y profesionales de la salud con experiencia en el tema. La pedagogía activa e interactiva utilizada en los eventos favoreció la formación de estudiantes críticos y socialmente responsables ante situaciones clínicas que involucran a la población. La Liga de Urgencias y Emergencias Académicas de la Universidad se fundó a través de una reunión celebrada con cinco estudiantes de licenciatura en enfermería, quienes compartían un ideal común: estudiar e investigar la urgencia y la emergencia. La iniciativa de crear la Liga Académica brindó una formación de profesionales calificados para atender directamente las demandas de la sociedad.O objetivo deste estudo foi relatar a experiência acerca do processo de formação de estudantes fundadores da Liga Acadêmica de Urgência e Emergência. Trata-se de um relato de experiência de estudantes do curso de enfermagem. As atividades educativas da Liga Acadêmica de Urgência e Emergência de uma Universidade Pública do Estado de Minas Gerais, foram conduzidas por quinze estudantes e três professoras e ocorreram entre os meses de outubro a dezembro de 2019. Os conteúdos teórico e prático foram conduzidos por professores e profissionais da área da saúde e com expertise na temática. A pedagogia ativa e interativa usada nos eventos favoreceu formação de estudantes críticos e socialmente responsáveis a situações clínicas que envolvem a população. A Liga Acadêmica de Urgência e Emergência da Universidade foi fundada por meio de uma reunião realizada com cinco estudantes de graduação em enfermagem, os quais tinham entre si uma idealização em comum: estudar e pesquisar sobre urgência e emergência.
