Bromatology of elephant grass silage with cupuaçu cake in different storage periods

Resumo: | The objective was to evaluate composition bromatological aspects of silage with 20% elephant grass and 80% cupuaçu cake at different storage times. The experiment was carried out in the Bromatology sector of the Federal University of Acre (UFAC), Rio Branco-Acre, in a completely randomized design (DIC), with five treatments and four repetitions (T1 = 7 days; T2 = 14 days; T3 = 21 days; T4 = 28 days and T5 = 35 days). Twenty experimental polyvinyl chloride (PVC) silos with a capacity of 2 kg were used and hydrogen potential (pH), dry matter (DM), crude protein (PB), mineral material (MM), ether extract (EE), fiber were evaluated acid detergent (FDA), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), hemicellulose (HEM), lignin (LIG), dry matter losses (PMS), gases (PG) and effluents (PE). The data were subjected to analysis of variance and means compared by the Tukey test (P<0.05), using the statistical program SISVAR, version 2012. The results regarding the hydrogen potential (pH) differed statistically (P<0.05). MS, PB, MM, EE, and NDT showed significant differences (P<0.05) between treatments, with emphasis on 35 days of storage, which showed better content of FDA, HEM and LIG. The levels of HEM, gas losses (PG) and effluents (PE) differed statistically (P<0.05). It was concluded that elephant grass silages with cupuaçu cake in the studied bromatological composition showed bromatological composition with losses of dry matter, effluents and gases at acceptable levels when the storage period is longer than 28 days. |

El experimento se realizó en el sector de Bromatología de la Universidad Federal de Acre (UFAC), Rio Branco-Acre, en un diseño completamente al azar (DIC), con cinco tratamientos y cuatro repeticiones (T1 = 7 días; T2 = 14 días; T3 = 21 días; T4 = 28 días y T5 = 35 días). Se utilizaron veinte silos experimentales de cloruro de polivinilo (PVC) con una capacidad de 2 kg y se evaluó el potencial de hidrógeno (pH), materia seca (MS), proteína cruda (PB), material mineral (MM), extracto etéreo (EE), fibra. detergente ácido (FDA), detergente neutro de fibra (NDF), hemicelulosa (HEM), lignina (LIG), pérdidas de materia seca (PMS), gases (PG) y efluentes (PE). Los datos fueron sometidos a análisis de varianza y comparación de medias mediante la prueba de Tukey (P<0.05), utilizando el programa estadístico SISVAR, versión 2012. Los resultados en cuanto al potencial de hidrógeno (pH) difirieron estadísticamente (P<0.05). MS, PB, MM, EE y NDT mostraron diferencias significativas (P<0.05) entre tratamientos, con énfasis en 35 días de almacenamiento, los cuales mostraron mejor contenido de FDA, HEM y LIG. Los niveles de HEM, pérdidas de gas (PG) y efluentes (PE) difirieron estadísticamente (P<0.05). Se concluye que los ensilajes de pasto elefante con torta de cupuaçu en la proporción estudiada presentaron composición bromatológicos con pérdidas de materia seca, efluentes y gases en niveles aceptables cuando el período de almacenamiento es mayor a 28 días.Objetivou-se avaliar a composição bromatológica e perfil fermentativo da silagem com 20% de capim elefante e 80% de torta de cupuaçu com diferentes tempos de armazenamentos. O experimento foi realizado no setor de Bromatologia da Universidade Federal do Acre (UFAC), Rio Branco-Acre, em delineamento inteiramente casualizado (DIC), com cinco tratamentos e quatro repetições (T1=7 dias; T2= 14 dias; T3= 21 dias; T4= 28 dias e T5= 35 dias). Foram utilizados 20 silos experimentais de policloreto de vinila (PVC) com capacidade de 2 kg e avaliados potencial hidrogeniônico (pH), matéria seca (MS), proteína bruta (PB), material mineral (MM), extrato etéreo (EE), fibra em detergente ácido (FDA), fibra em detergente neutro (FDN), hemicelulose (HEM), lignina (LIG), perdas de matéria seca (PMS), gases (PG) e efluentes (PE). Os dados foram submetidos à análise de variância e médias comparadas pelo teste Tukey (P<0,05), utilizando-se o programa estatístico SISVAR, versão 2012. Os resultados referentes ao potencial hidrogeniônico (pH) diferiram estatisticamente (P< 0,05). MS, PB, MM, EE, e NDT apresentaram diferenças significativas (P<0,05) entre os tratamentos, com destaque para 35 dias de armazenamento, o qual apresentou melhor teor de FDA, HEM e LIG. Os níveis de HEM, perdas por gases (PG) e efluentes (PE) diferiram estatisticamente (P<0,05).
