Resumo: | This study aims to analyze the evidence available in the literature on nursing care in the care of premature newborns within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This is an integrative review carried out through searches in the following databases: Publisher Medline (PUBMED), Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences (LILACS), and Nursing Database (BDENF), indexed by Virtual Health Library (VHL). The health descriptors according to the DECS were used: Neonatal ICU, Premature Newborn and Neonatal Nursing. The following were included in the search: full articles available, in Portuguese and English. Duplicate articles, theses and dissertations were excluded. The sample was produced through 10 studies to be carefully analyzed. The synthesis of the results was organized in a descriptive way and through tables. The selected studies strongly respond to the guiding question of this study, in which the main nursing assistance takes place through the reception of the family and the newborn, in the encouragement of breastfeeding, in the guidance to parents on their insertion in of to newborn care. It is concluded with this research, that it was possible to characterize the main nursing care for premature newborns within the Intensive Care Unit. In this way, the main assistance/interventions took place through the kangaroo method, curled bath, welcoming parents and family members and music therapy. |

Research, Society and Development2022-05-31info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/3035110.33448/rsd-v11i7.30351Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 No. 7; e46911730351Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 Núm. 7; e46911730351Research, Society and Development; v. 11 n. 7; e469117303512525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/30351/26063Copyright (c) 2022 Deborah Nycole Araújo Silva Sousa; Kelly Cristina Rodrigues do Bonfim; Dean Douglas Ferreira de Olivindo https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSousa, Deborah Nycole Araújo Silva Bonfim, Kelly Cristina Rodrigues do Olivindo , Dean Douglas Ferreira de 2022-06-06T15:12:05Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/30351Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:47:08.603180Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false |
