The educational employment of the Base Education Movement (MEB): a discursive approach

Resumo: | The guiding thread of this research is to analyze the discourses about the educational emptying process of the Basic Education Movement. The methodological theoretical approach that we use is the French Discourse Analysis (AD), which proposed a dialogue with three areas of scientific knowledge: linguistics, historical materialism and psychoanalysis. We understand that speech produces meaning effects and are materialized in language. Thus, all meaning is marked by ideological positions that are inserted in historical processes producing words, utterances and expressions. Discursive processes constitute a particular society. The discourse is not neutral, but ideological and marked by decision making by the subject. The documents that were analyzed are reports of the Movement of Basic Education (MEB), from 1964 to 1966, in addition the bibliographical research on the subject was performed. To carry out the analysis we use the categories of Production Conditions (broad and strict) to understand how the discourses reveal themselves, and their senses are going through this discourse. The results show a process of resistance of the MEB during the military regime that redirected its educational practices, although there was a process of political and educational emptying instituted by the military government. |

El enfoque teórico metodológico que utilizamos es el Análisis del discurso francés (AD), que propuso un diálogo con tres áreas de conocimiento científico: lingüística, materialismo histórico y psicoanálisis. Entendemos que el habla produce efectos de significado y se materializa en el lenguaje. Por lo tanto, todo significado está marcado por posiciones ideológicas que se insertan en procesos históricos que producen palabras, expresiones y expresiones. Los procesos discursivos constituyen una sociedad particular. El discurso no es neutral, sino ideológico y está marcado por la toma de decisiones por parte del sujeto. Los documentos que se analizaron son informes del Movimiento de Educación Básica (MEB), de 1964 a 1966, además se realizó la investigación bibliográfica sobre el tema. Para llevar a cabo el análisis, utilizamos las categorías de Condiciones de producción (amplias y estrictas) para comprender cómo se revelan los discursos y sus sentidos atraviesan este discurso. Los resultados muestran un proceso de resistencia del MEB durante el régimen militar que redirigió sus prácticas educativas, aunque hubo un proceso de vaciamiento político y educativo instituido por el gobierno militar.O fio condutor desta pesquisa é analisar os discursos sobre o processo de esvaziamento educacional do Movimento de Educação de Base. O aporte teórico metodológico que recorremos é a Análise do Discurso (AD) da vertente francesa, que propôs um diálogo com três áreas do conhecimento científico: a linguística, o materialismo histórico e a psicanálise. Entendemos que o discurso produz efeitos de sentido e são materializados na língua. Assim, todo sentido é marcado por posições ideológicas que estão inseridos nos processos históricos produzindo palavras, enunciações e expressões. Os processos discursivos se constitui numa determinada sociedade. O discurso não é neutro, mas ideológico e marcado por tomada de decisão pelo sujeito. Os documentos que foram analisados são relatórios do Movimento de Educação de Base (MEB), do período de 1964 a 1966, ademais foi realizada a pesquisa bibliográfica sobre a temática. Para a realização da análise acionamos às categorias das Condições de Produção (amplas e estritas) para entender como os discursos se revelam, e os seus sentidos estão atravessando nesse discurso. Os resultados mostram processo de resistência do MEB durante o regime militar que redirecionou suas práticas educativas, embora tenha ocorrido um processo de esvaziamento político e educacional instaurado pelo governo militar.
