Resumo: The child and the movement are two inseparable things. This relationship is what allows the individual to interact with the environment in which he lives, to know and experience it, relating and becoming part of it. The presented article aimed to analyze the importance of movement for the development of children from zero to six years old, based on the main theorists of human development and how it can be worked through significant experiences in early childhood education. It was noticed that a good, solid and well-explored motor development is a fundamental part to make learning, social and school, more dynamic, contextualized and pleasurable for children.

Esta relación es la que permite al individuo interactuar con el medio en el que vive, conocerlo y experimentarlo, relacionándose con él y formando parte de él. El objetivo del artículo presentado fue analizar la importancia del movimiento para el desarrollo de los niños de cero a seis años, a partir de los principales teóricos del desarrollo humano y cómo se puede trabajar a través de experiencias significativas en la educación infantil. Se observó que un buen desarrollo motor, sólido y bien explorado, es parte fundamental para que el aprendizaje social y escolar sea más dinámico, contextualizado y agradable para los niños.A criança e o movimento são duas coisas indissociáveis. Essa relação é que possibilita ao indivíduo interagir com o meio em que vive, conhecer e experimentá-lo, relacionando-se e tornando-se parte dele. O artigo apresentado teve como objetivo analisar a importância do movimento para o desenvolvimento das crianças de zero a seis anos, fundamentando-se nos principais teóricos do desenvolvimento humano e como ele pode ser trabalhado através de vivências significativas na educação infantil.
