Resumo: The debate between Science and Religion has marked the last centuries, with current implications for the teaching of Science. In This context, the general objective of this study is to know the influence of the educational environment in the face of evolutionary thinking about the expression of belief in God and religiosity among middle-level students of a school in the interior of Brazil. Semi-structured interviews Were conducted with students from the 3rd year of High School in a State college located in the city of Alto Alegre do Maranhão. Na Research was used semi-structured interview characterizing The socio-demographic profile of the participants, based on the didactic book for discussing and conducting a seminar, therefore applying a post-survey questionnaire. The results indicate that the school contributes and fosters discussions on current issues, of Community interest or related to social problems.

En este contexto, el estudio en cuestión tiene el objetivo general de conocer la influencia del entorno educativo frente al pensamiento evolutivo sobre la expresión de la creencia en Dios y la religiosidad entre los estudiantes de secundaria en una escuela en el interior de Brasil. Se llevaron a cabo entrevistas semiestructuradas con estudiantes del tercer año de secundaria en una escuela estatal ubicada en la ciudad de Alto Alegre do Maranhão. En la investigación, se utilizó una entrevista semiestructurada, que caracteriza el perfil sociodemográfico de los participantes, basado en el libro de texto para la discusión y celebración de un seminario, en consecuencia, la aplicación de un cuestionario posterior a la encuesta. Los resultados indican que la escuela contribuye y fomenta las discusiones sobre asuntos actuales, de interés para la comunidad o relacionados con problemas sociales.O debate entre Ciência e Religião tem marcado os últimos séculos, com implicações atuais para o ensino de Ciências. Nesse contexto o estudo em pauta tem como objetivo geral conhecer a influência do ambiente educacional diante do pensamento evolutivo sobre a expressão da crença em Deus e na religiosidade entre os estudantes de nível médio de uma escola no interior do Brasil. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com estudantes do 3º ano do ensino médio de uma escola estadual localizada na cidade de Alto Alegre do Maranhão.
