Psychosocial and mental health aspects during pregnancy in the COVID-19 pandemic

Resumo: The present study aimed to identify the psychosocial aspects that influence the lives of pregnant women, particularly in relation to the current period 2020 and 2021, reviewing studies on pregnancy during the COVID-19 pandemic and that focus on the main factors that interfere with mental health. of the woman during pregnancy. This is an integrative literature review study, where the following descriptors were used: “Pregnancy”, “Mental health”, “Nursing Assistance”, “COVID-19”. Based on theoretical databases: SciELO, LILACS, MEDLINE, BDENF. This is one of the research methods used in Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) that allows the incorporation of evidence into clinical practice. Where it was evidenced that pregnancy, as it is a unique moment in a woman's life, care for her physical and mental health is necessary, and requires more attention in the pandemic in which she is experienced, in view of the importance of the nurse professional for the due accompaniments both in prenatal care as well as in the puerperium, guiding these pregnant women, to minimize the risks of diseases contracting this virus. Therefore, it is concluded that nursing care, when performed properly with the pregnant woman with the aim of offering prevention and health promotion, is of paramount importance for maintaining the quality of life of the mother-baby binomial.

Se trata de un estudio de revisión integrativa de la literatura, donde se utilizaron los siguientes descriptores: “Embarazo”, “Salud mental”, “Asistencia de Enfermería”, “COVID-19”. Basado en bases de datos teóricas: SciELO, LILACS, MEDLINE, BDENF. Este es uno de los métodos de investigación utilizados en la Práctica Basada en la Evidencia (PBE) que permite incorporar la evidencia a la práctica clínica. Fue evidenciado que el embarazo por ser un momento único en la vida de una mujer es necesario el cuidado de su salud física y mental, y requiere mayor atención en la pandemia en la que se vive, en vista de la importancia del profesional de enfermería por los debidos acompañamientos tanto en el control prenatal como en el puerperio, orientando a estas gestantes, para minimizar los riesgos de enfermedades por contraer este virus. Por lo tanto, se concluye que los cuidados de enfermería, cuando se realizan adecuadamente con la gestante con el objetivo de ofrecer prevención y promoción de la salud, son de suma importancia para el mantenimiento de la calidad de vida del binomio madre-bebé.O presente estudo teve como objetivo identificar os aspectos psicossociais que influenciam na vida das mulheres grávidas, particularmente em relação ao período atual 2020 e 2021, revisando estudos sobre gravidez durante a pandemia da COVID-19 e que enfoquem os principais fatores que interferem na saúde mental da mulher durante a gestação. Trata-se de um estudo de revisão integrativa da literatura, onde foram utilizados os seguintes descritores: “Gravidez”, “Saúde Mental”, “Assistencia da Enfermagem”, “COVID-19”. Com embasamento teórico nas bases de dados: SciELO, LILACS, MEDLINE, BDENF. Sendo esse um dos métodos de pesquisa utilizados na Prática Baseada em Evidências (PBE) que permite a incorporação das evidências na prática clínica. Foi evidenciado que a gravidez por ser um momento único na vida da mulher, é necesssario cuidados com sua saúde física, mental, e requer mais atenção na pandemia em que se vivencia, tendo em vista a importância do profissional enfermeiro para os devidos acompanhamentos tanto no pré-natal como no puerpério, orientando essas gestantes, para minimizar os riscos de agravos contraindo esse vírus.
