Resumo: | Objective: to analyze whether permanent health education constitutes a strategy for qualifying the work process of community health workers. Methodology: this study consists of an integrative literature review. Twelve articles were selected for analysis. Results: it was found that the existence of spaces for permanent education is essential to qualify the practice of Community Health Workers as these are considered powerful devices to generate changes in the work process because they are configured as a space for problematizing and building new ways of caring. Conclusion: the adoption of permanent health education with Community Health Workers is essential for the adoption of collaborative, reflective and critical work, enabling better quality health care for the population. |

Resultados: se descubrió que la existencia de espacios para la educación permanente es esencial para calificar la práctica de los Agentes comunitarios de salud, ya que estos se consideran dispositivos poderosos para generar cambios en el proceso de trabajo porque están configurados como un espacio para problematizar y construir otras nuevas formas de cuidar. Conclusión: la adopción de educación permanente en salud con Agentes comunitarios de salud es esencial para la adopción de trabajo colaborativo, reflexivo y crítico, que permita una atención médica de mejor calidad para la población.Objetivo: analisar se a educação permanente em saúde se constitui em uma estratégia para qualificação do processo de trabalho dos agentes comunitários de saúde. Metodologia: este estudo consiste em uma revisão integrativa da literatura. Foram selecionadas para análise 12 artigos. Resultados: verificou-se que é fundamental a existência de espaços de educação permanente para qualificar a prática dos Agentes Comunitários de Saúde visto que estes são considerados dispositivos potente para gerar mudanças no processo de trabalho pois se configuram como um espaço de problematização e construção de novos modos de cuidar.
