The role of the school principal: challenges and possibilities of your professional acting, while facilitator of the teaching-learning process

Resumo: | This study aims to understand how the school principal can be a facilitator of the teaching-learning process and to identify the challenges encountered and the possibilities in in that process. This is a field research, with a qualitative approach, carried out in a public school in the municipality of Cariré-Ceará, in August 2018. Data collection occurred through participant observation and a questionnaire. In view of the interpretation of the findings, it was understood that the director is not only capable of performing administrative aspects, but can also work together with teachers to assist in the development of the teaching-learning process; that it is with willpower, in dialogue and in the face of pedagogical practices, that he can build methodologies that help students in the teaching and learning process, since the school administration team influences and facilitates this process that defines the social mission , politics and technique of the school today. Among the challenges of the teaching-learning process, the director interviewed in this study highlighted school dropout and, as a leader and facilitator, uses the field of motivation as a strategy to overcome this fact. Thus, school managers, as well as other education professionals, need to be in a constant formation process, taking into account that they are professionals who form other people. |

Esta es una investigación de campo, con un enfoque cualitativo, realizada en una escuela pública en el municipio de Cariré-Ceará, en agosto de 2018. La recopilación de datos se realizó a través de la observación participante y un cuestionario. En vista de la interpretación de los resultados, se entendió que el director no solo puede realizar funciones de aspectos administrativos, sino que puede actuar, junto con los maestros, para ayudar en el desarrollo del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje; que es con fuerza de voluntad, dialogando y estar por delante prácticas pedagógicas que él puede construir metodologías que ayuden a los estudiantes en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, ya que el equipo de gestión escuela influye y facilita este proceso que define la misión social, política y técnica escolar de hoy. Entre los desafíos en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, el director entrevistado en este estudio destacó el abandono escuela y, como líder y facilitador, utiliza el campo de la motivación como una estrategia para superar este hecho. Por lo tanto, los directores de escuela, al igual que otros profesionales de la educación, deben estar en constantes procesos de formación, teniendo en cuenta que son profesionales que forma a otras personas.O presente estudo objetiva compreender como o gestor escolar pode ser um facilitador do processo de ensino-aprendizagem e identificar os desafios que são encontrados e as possibilidades nesse processo. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de campo, com abordagem qualitativa, realizada em uma escola pública de ensino fundamental do município de Cariré-Ceará, no mês de agosto de 2018. A coleta de dados ocorreu por meio da observação participante e de um questionário. Diante da interpretação dos achados, compreendeu-se que o gestor não está somente apto a realizar funções de aspectos administrativos, mas que pode atuar, juntamente com os professores, para auxiliar no desenvolvimento do processo de ensino-aprendizagem; que é com força de vontade, dialogando, e estando frente às práticas pedagógicas que este poderá conseguir construir metodologias que ajudem aos alunos no processo de ensino e de aprendizagem, visto que a equipe gestora tanto influência como facilita este processo que define a missão social, política e técnica da escola na atualidade. Dentre os desafios no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, o gestor entrevistado neste estudo destacou a evasão escolar, e enquanto líder e facilitador usa do campo da motivação como estratégia de superação diante desse fato.
