Biosafety: risks, measures and prevention for nursing profissionals

Resumo: | Objective: to identify the risks and prevention measures for nursing professionals as a source of minimizing accidents and biological contamination, in their work environment, especially in hospitals, since the contact with patients is more direct. Method: The article was produced through a study of basic nature with exploratory descriptive objectives, being used the following databases: SCIELO, LILACS, PUBMED, BVS BRASIL, MEDLINE, BDENF-NURSING and legislation and regulatory standards relevant to Biosafety. Performed - time cut of 06 years, 2016 to 2021, with inclusion criteria articles in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Thus, from the content analysis, preceded by rigorous reading, the approaches related to Biosafety were elected. Results: From the approach of Biosafety its risks and prevention measures for nursing professionals, among the 15 articles selected, it can be seen that even given the importance still there is little material on the proposed theme, The importance of discussing the proposed theme in order to influence the nursing professional to reflect on their care practice is well known. Final Considerations: The research showed that a reflection on how to act within the precepts of Biosafety is indispensable. Having access to knowledge of this subject in training courses and training of nursing professionals aims to achieve an increasingly safe practice, given that the number of research on this subject is reduced. |

Método: El artículo fue producido a través de un estudio de naturaleza básica con objetivos descriptivos exploratorio, siendo utilizados los siguientes bancos de datos: SCIELO, LILACS, PUBMED, BVS BRASIL, MEDLINE, BDENF-ENFERMERÍA y legislaciones y normas reglamentarias pertinentes a la bioseguridad. Realizó - se corte temporal de 06 años, 2016 a 2021, con criterios de inclusión artículos en inglés, portugués y español. De esta forma, a partir del análisis de contenido, precedido por lectura rigurosa, fueron elegidos los abordajes referentes a la Bioseguridad. Resultados: A partir del abordaje de la Bioseguridad sus riesgos y medidas de prevención para los profesionales de enfermería, entre los 15 artículos seleccionados se percibe que incluso ante la importancia aún se observa la poca cantidad de material sobre la temática propuesta, es notoria la importancia de discutir el tema propuesto con el fin de influenciar al profesional de enfermería a reflexionar sobre su práctica asistencial. Consideraciones finales: La investigación evidenció que es indispensable una reflexión sobre la forma de actuar dentro de los preceptos de Bioseguridad. Tener acceso al conocimiento de esta temática en los cursos de formación y capacitación de los profesionales de enfermería busca alcanzar una práctica cada vez más segura, teniendo en vista que el número de investigaciones sobre dicho tema es reducido.Objetivo: Identificar os riscos e medidas de prevenção para os profissionais de enfermagem como fonte de minimização de acidentes e contaminação biológica, em seu ambiente de trabalho, em especial nos hospitais, vez que o contato com os pacientes é mais direto. Método: O artigo foi produzido através de um estudo de natureza básica com objetivos descritivos exploratório, sendo utilizados os seguintes bancos de dados: SCIELO, LILACS, PUBMED, BVS BRASIL, MEDLINE, BDENF-ENFERMAGEM e legislações e normas regulamentadoras pertinentes a Biossegurança. Realizou - se corte temporal de 06 anos, 2016 a 2021, com critérios de inclusão artigos em inglês, português e espanhol. Dessa forma, a partir da análise de conteúdo, precedida por leitura rigorosa, foram eleitas as abordagens referentes à Biossegurança. Resultados: A partir da abordagem da Biossegurança seus riscos e medidas de prevenção para os profissionais de enfermagem, entre os 15 artigos selecionados percebe-se que mesmo diante da importância ainda se observa a pouca quantidade de material sobre a temática proposta, é notório a importância de se discutir o tema proposto com o intuito de influenciar o profissional de enfermagem a refletir sobre sua prática assistencial. Considerações Finais: A pesquisa evidenciou que é indispensável uma reflexão sobre a forma de agir dentro dos preceitos de Biossegurança.
