Resumo: This paper aims to analyze Brazilian Law No. 12,305 of August 02, 2010 entitled National Solid Waste Policy, specifically in the obstacles to the completion of the regulation of the reverse logistics process and the main objectives, principles, and instruments of this policy in line with the pillars of sustainability. Analyses were performed through bibliographical research enabling the contextualization of the theme. It is perceived that the Law is very well elaborated, favoring sustainable regional development; however, the lack of public management and health issues such as the new coronavirus pandemic make it difficult to complete its implementation.

It is perceived that the Law is very well elaborated, favoring sustainable regional development; however, the lack of public management and health issues such as the new coronavirus pandemic make it difficult to complete its implementation.Este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la Ley Brasileña N° 12.305 del 02 de agosto de 2010 titulada Política Nacional de Residuos Sólidos, específicamente en los obstáculos para la finalización de la regulación del proceso de logística inversa y los principales objetivos, principios e instrumentos de esta política en línea con los pilares de la sostenibilidad. Los análisis se realizaron a través de la investigación bibliográfica que permitió la contextualización del tema. Se percibe que la Ley está muy bien elaborada, favoreciendo el desarrollo regional sostenible; sin embargo, la falta de gestión pública y los problemas de salud como la pandemia del nuevo coronavirus dificultan su implementación.O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a Lei brasileira nº 12.305 de 02 de agosto de 2010 intitulada Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos, especificamente nos entraves para conclusão da regulamentação do processo de logística reversa e os principais objetivos, princípios e instrumentos desta política em consonância com os pilares da sustentabilidade. Foram realizadas análises através de pesquisas bibliográficas viabilizando a contextualização do tema.
