Resumo: | This study aims to identify the determinants of the decision to purchase mineral nucleus by breeders of confined beef cattle in the Midwest. For that, a quantitative descriptive research was developed, carried out through the application of structured questionnaires to 83 cattle confiners in the Midwest region of Brazil. After data collection and sample characterization, binary logistic regression and cluster analysis were performed. It was concluded that the data do not allow the prior identification of the influence of the selected purchase attributes (agility of delivery, technical follow-up, brand confidence, guarantee level, indication of the brand by a friend, payment term, product price, brand indication by technician, relationship with the representative and performance result) in the purchase decision and use of mineral cores (whole grains or traditional) in the diet of confined beef cattle. The grouping analysis of specific types of managers obtained answers that are not related, not allowing the distinction between groups. The results open a new point of analysis for purchasing behavior for production: the search for standardization of processes and understanding of the profile of the producer. |

Para ello, se desarrolló una investigación descriptiva cuantitativa, realizada mediante la aplicación de cuestionarios estructurados a 83 confinadores de bovinos en la región del Medio Oeste de Brasil. Después de la recolección de datos y la caracterización de la muestra, se realizó una regresión logística binaria y un análisis de conglomerados. Se concluyó que los datos no permiten identificar previamente la influencia de los atributos de compra seleccionados (agilidad de entrega, seguimiento técnico, confianza de marca, nivel de garantía, indicación de la marca por parte de un amigo, plazo de pago, precio del producto, indicación de marca por parte del técnico, relación con el representante y resultado de desempeño) en la decisión de compra y uso de núcleos minerales (integrales o tradicionales) en la dieta del ganado vacuno confinado. El análisis de agrupaciones de tipos específicos de directivos obtuvo respuestas que no están relacionadas, no permitiendo la distinción entre grupos. Los resultados abren un nuevo punto de análisis para el comportamiento de compra para la producción: la búsqueda de la estandarización de procesos y la comprensión del perfil del productor.O presente estudo visa identificar os fatores determinantes da decisão de compra de núcleo mineral por parte dos criadores de gado de corte confinado no Centro Oeste. Para tanto, desenvolveu-se uma pesquisa quantitativa descritiva, realizada através da aplicação de questionários estruturados a 83 confinadores de gado da região Centro-Oeste do Brasil. Após a coleta dos dados e caracterização da amostra, foram realizadas regressão logística binária e análise de cluster. Concluiu-se que, os dados não permitem a identificação prévia de influência dos atributos de compra selecionados (agilidade de entrega, acompanhamento técnico, confiança da marca, nível de garantia, indicação da marca por um amigo, prazo de pagamento, preço do produto, indicação de marca por técnico, relacionamento com o representante e resultado de desempenho) na decisão de compra e uso de núcleos minerais (grãos inteiros ou tradicional) na dieta de bovinos de corte confinados. A análise de agrupamento de tipos específicos de gestores obteve respostas que não estão relacionadas, não permitindo a distinção entre os grupos.
