Hybrid teaching in the school context: Challenges and possibilities for implementation in basic education

Resumo: Blended Learning emerged to leverage student learning by adding the power of being the protagonist of the learning process and expanding greater engagement and efficiency. This modality has been widely used as a methodological proposal for teaching education in times of a pandemic, after the first days of social isolation have passed. Thus, this article aims to analyze the degree of student satisfaction in relation to the hybrid methodology in a Basic Education School of the Public Education Network, in addition to investigating the process of implementing this methodology by observing the adaptation of students through a case study. As a research tool, a questionnaire containing closed and open questions was applied with the intention of verifying the students' satisfaction in relation to the hybrid teaching method, aiming to observe the negative and positive points from the perspective of the students who participate in this process. Based on the analysis of the data found, it is concluded that the implementation of the hybrid teaching model is satisfactory, in the perception of the students. However, because it is a new teaching model in the context of Basic Education, some students have not yet got used to the routine and have difficulties in dealing with the method.

Esta modalidad ha sido muy utilizada como propuesta metodológica para la enseñanza de la educación en tiempos de pandemia, luego de transcurridos los primeros días de aislamiento social. Así, este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar el grado de satisfacción de los estudiantes en relación a la metodología híbrida en una Escuela de Educación Básica de la Red de Educación Pública, además de investigar el proceso de implementación de esta metodología mediante la observación de la adaptación de los estudiantes a través de un estudio de caso. Como herramienta de investigación, se aplicó un cuestionario que contenía preguntas cerradas y abiertas con la intención de verificar la satisfacción de los estudiantes en relación con el método de enseñanza híbrido, con el objetivo de observar los puntos negativos y positivos desde la perspectiva de los estudiantes que participan en este proceso. En base al análisis de los datos encontrados, se concluye que la implementación del modelo de enseñanza híbrido es satisfactoria, en la percepción de los estudiantes. Sin embargo, por tratarse de un nuevo modelo de enseñanza en el contexto de la Educación Básica, algunos alumnos aún no se acostumbraron a la rutina y presentan dificultades en el manejo del método.O Ensino Híbrido surgiu para alavancar a aprendizagem dos estudantes acrescentando o poder de ser o protagonista do processo de aprendizagem e expandindo um maior engajamento e eficiência. Essa modalidade tem sido muito utilizada como uma proposta metodológica de ensino para a educação em tempos de pandemia, após passados os primeiros tempos de isolamento social. Dessa forma, o presente artigo tem o objetivo analisar o grau de satisfação dos alunos em relação à metodologia híbrida em uma Escola de Ensino Básico da Rede Pública de Ensino, além de investigar o processo de implantação dessa metodologia observando a adaptação dos alunos por meio de um estudo de caso. Como ferramenta de pesquisa, foi aplicado um questionário contendo questões fechadas e abertas com a intenção de verificar a satisfação dos alunos em relação ao método de ensino híbrido, visando observar os pontos negativos e positivos pela ótica dos educandos que participam desse processo. Com base na análise dos dados encontrados, conclui-se que a implantação do modelo híbrido de ensino é satisfatória, na percepção dos educandos.
