The geography teaching and its challenges: the curricular stage for the development of a research teacher

Resumo: This article aims to reflect on the teaching of geography in Brazilian public schools of basic education and also on the performance of the trainee in the context of school structure, is precarious, within the theoretical-methodological crisis of geographic science. Has as investigative approach a qualitative and explicative nature and The type of research developed is a bibliographical and documentary research. Geography is a science that has sui generis characteristics, because in the construction of its contents, interdisciplinarity is predominant and not transverse or sporadic. However, in pedagogical practice and teaching in the classroom many teachers tend to fragment knowledge, that is: they approach the subjects in a fragmented way, detached from the other sciences without the necessary reflections for the integral understanding. In the course of an academic internship, the future professor of geography can intervene in the school acting as a researcher through projects, approaching the subjects of geography in an interdisciplinary way. The theoretical-methodological approach of geography teaching should contemplate a conception of a critical geography in tune with constructivism, since it allows the student to feel motivated in the teaching-learning process, promoting a re-signification of the contents, making it a research subject and problematizing in the construction of geographic knowledge.

Tiene como enfoque investigativo una naturaleza cualitativa y explicativa y el tipo de investigación desarrollada es una investigación bibliográfica y documental. La geografía es una ciencia que posee características sui generis, pues en la construcción de sus contenidos la interdisciplinaridad es predominante y no de forma transversal o esporádica. Sin embargo, en la práctica pedagógica y de enseñanza en el aula muchos profesores tienden a fragmentar el saber, o sea: abordan los asuntos de forma fragmentada, descolgada de las demás ciencias sin las reflexiones necesarias para el entendimiento integral. En el curso de una etapa académica, el futuro profesor de geografía puede intervenir en la escuela actuando como un investigador a través de proyectos, abordando las temáticas de la geografía de forma interdisciplinaria. El enfoque teórico-metodológico de la enseñanza de geografía debe contemplar una concepción de una geografía crítica en sintonía con el constructivismo, pues posibilita que el alumno se sienta motivado en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, promoviendo una resignificación de los contenidos, haciéndolo un sujeto investigador y, problematizador en la construcción del saber geográfico.Este artigo tem como objetivo refletir sobre o ensino de geografia nas escolas públicas brasileiras da educação básica e ainda sobre a atuação do estagiário no contexto da estrutura escolar, esta precarizada, dentro da crise teórico-metodológica da ciência geográfica. Tem como abordagem investigativa uma natureza qualitativa e explicativa e O tipo de pesquisa desenvolvida é uma Pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. A geografia é uma ciência que possui características sui generis, pois na construção de seus conteúdos a interdisciplinaridade é predominante e não de forma transversal ou esporádica. Entretanto, na prática pedagógica e de ensino em sala de aula muitos professores tendem a fragmentação do saber, ou seja: abordam os assuntos de forma fragmentada, descolada das demais ciências sem as reflexões necessárias para o entendimento integral. No decurso de um estágio acadêmico, o futuro professor de geografia pode intervir na escola atuando como um pesquisador por meio de projetos, abordando as temáticas da geografia de forma interdisciplinar.
