Profile of the competencies of the community health agent in view of the diagnosis of congenital syphilis

Resumo: | The aim of this study is to explore the acquisition of competencies of community health agents (CHA) in the face of congenital syphilis. Bibliographic research, carried out in the Virtual Health Library having as inclusion criteria studies available entirely on the Internet, independent of languages and time space, which include the work of the community health agent involved with the suspicion or diagnosis of congenital syphilis and publications that explore the competencies of the CHA. We selected 13 articles and 8 publications from the Ministry of Health. The study brought an international view of the work of the CHA from the formulation of the categories of analysis: General characteristics of cha; The home visit as a key competence of the CHA; Competencies of CHA in relation to congenital syphilis; Salary remuneration of the CHA; The competencies of the CHA before the SUS and training of the CHA for the acquisition of competencies. This professional has not yet been perceived as a possible catalyst link of results also in the problem of congenital syphilis. It is concluded that the nursing professional needs to be visionary about the health of the population, the economy of the System referring to avoidable treatments, the preventable risks in health and the quality of care based on simple and low-cost strategies, such as the training of CHA, respecting their academic level, their workload, and, above all, their competencies predetermined by the Ministry of Health. The investment in new publications with this theme would expands the knowledge of the work of a professional who is the link between the community and the health service. |

Investigación bibliográfica, realizada en la Biblioteca Virtual de Salud teniendo como criterio de inclusión estudios disponibles íntegramente en Internet, independientemente de los idiomas y el espacio temporal, que incluyen el trabajo del agente de salud comunitario implicado en la sospecha o diagnóstico de sífilis congénita y publicaciones que exploran las competencias del ASC. Seleccionamos 13 artículos y 8 publicaciones del Ministerio de Salud. El estudio aportó una visión internacional de la labor de la ASC a partir de la formulación de las categorías de análisis: Características generales de cha; La visita domiciliaciona como una competencia clave de la ASC; Competencias de ASC en relación con la sífilis congénita; Remuneración salarial del ASC; Las competencias del ASC ante el SUS y la formación del ASC para la adquisición de competencias. Este profesional aún no ha sido percibido como un posible vínculo catalizador de resultados también en el problema de la sífilis congénita. Se concluye que el profesional de enfermería debe ser visionario sobre la salud de la población, la economía del Sistema que se refiere a los tratamientos evitables, los riesgos prevenibles en la salud y la calidad de la atención basada en estrategias simples y de bajo costo, como la formación del ASC, el respeto de su nivel académico, su carga de trabajo y, sobre todo, sus competencias predeterminadas por el Ministerio de Salud. La inversión en nuevas publicaciones con tema amplía el conocimiento del trabajo de un profesional que es el vínculo entre la comunidad y el servicio de salud.O objetivo deste estudo é explorar a aquisição de competências do agente comunitário de saúde (ACS) frente a sífilis congênita. Pesquisa bibliográfica, realizada na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde tendo por critérios de inclusão estudos disponíveis integralmente na Internet, independentes de idiomas e espaço temporal, que incluam o trabalho do agente comunitário de saúde envolvido com a suspeita ou o diagnóstico de sífilis congênita e publicações que exploram as competências dos ACS. Foram selecionados 13 artigos e 8 publicações do Ministério da Saúde. O estudo trouxe uma visão internacional do trabalho do ACS a partir da formulação das categorias de análise: Características gerais dos ACS; A visita domiciliar como competência chave do ACS; Competências dos ACS em relação à sífilis congênita; Remuneração salarial do ACS; As competências dos ACS diante do SUS e Capacitação dos ACS para aquisição de competências. Este profissional ainda não foi percebido como possível elo catalisador de resultados também na problemática da sífilis congênita. Conclui-se que o profissional Enfermeiro necessita ser visionário quanto a saúde da população, a economia do Sistema referente a tratamentos evitáveis, aos riscos preveníveis em saúde e a qualidade da assistência a partir de estratégias simples e de baixo custo, como a capacitação dos ACS, respeitando seu nível acadêmico, sua carga horária, e, sobretudo, suas competências pré-determinadas pelo Ministério da Saúde.
