Resumo: Objective: To describe the experience of nursing students during the internship in risk classification in the context of urgency and emergency, aiming at the role of nurses in this process. Methodology: This is a descriptive study, of the experience report type, which took place during the students experience in a public emergency and reference hospital in the state of Pará, during the second half of 2021. Results: During the hospital internship period, it was possible to follow the patient's passage step by step, from his arrival, his reception, classification and referral to the ward, there was the opportunity to use the Manchester Protocol, something that in practice had never been accomplished. In addition to having contact with the patient, solving doubts and also calming them down, performing the classification also in the institution's system and having safety and autonomy in the conducts. The internship was fundamental for the students, new experiences, domains and autonomy in procedures were acquired, as was passed on from the preceptor to the students, following the role of the nurse in that context. Conclusion: During the curricular internship days in the risk classification, the importance of a nurse trained in the classification was evident, as it is necessary to be cautious in their decisions, it is necessary to be sure about the protocol and to know the exact classification according to the event with the patient, knowing how to manage the environment, in addition to collecting all the information from the patient's history and forwarding to the ward.

Metodología: Se trata de un estudio descriptivo, del tipo relato de experiencia, que tuvo lugar durante la experiencia de los estudiantes en un hospital público de emergencia y de referencia en el estado de Pará, durante el segundo semestre de 2021. Resultados: Resultados: Durante el período de internado hospitalario se pudo seguir paso a paso el paso del paciente, desde su llegada, su recepción, clasificación y derivación a sala, se tuvo la oportunidad de utilizar el Protocolo de Manchester, algo que en la práctica nunca se había se ha logrado Además de tener contacto con el paciente, resolver dudas y también calmarlo, realizar la clasificación también en el sistema de la institución y tener seguridad y autonomía en las conductas. El internado fue fundamental para los estudiantes, se adquirieron nuevas experiencias, dominios y autonomía en los procedimientos, pues fue transmitida del preceptor a los estudiantes, siguiendo el rol de la enfermera en ese contexto. Conclusión: Durante las jornadas de pasantía curricular en la clasificación de riesgo se evidenció la importancia de una enfermera capacitada en la clasificación, ya que es necesario ser cautos en sus decisiones, es necesario estar seguro del protocolo y conocer la clasificación exacta según el evento con el paciente, saber manejar el ambiente, además de recolectar toda la información de la historia del paciente y remitir a enfermería.Objetivo: Descrever a vivência dos acadêmicos de enfermagem durante o estágio na classificação de risco no âmbito de urgência e emergência, visando o papel do enfermeiro nesse processo. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, do tipo relato de experiência, que se sucedeu durante a vivência dos discentes em um hospital público de urgência e emergência referência no estado do Pará, durante o segundo semestre de 2021. Resultados: Durante o período de estágio hospitalar foi possível acompanhar passo a passo da passagem do paciente, desde a sua chegada, a sua recepção, classificação e encaminhamento para a enfermaria, houve a oportunidade de usar o Protocolo Manchester algo que na prática nunca havia sido realizado. Além de ter o contato com o paciente, sanar dúvidas e também acalmar o mesmo, realizar a classificação também no sistema da instituição e ter segurança e autonomia nas condutas. O estágio foi fundamental para os acadêmicos, adquiriu-se novas experiências, domínios e autonomia em procedimentos, conforme foi repassado do preceptor para os discentes seguindo o papel do enfermeiro naquele âmbito.
