Perspectives on the potential of the State of Rio de Janeiro in the beverage production sector and its connection with the field of chemical engineering

Resumo: The beverage sector plays an important role in the Brazilian manufacturing industry, being a major employer in absolute terms and with a wide geographic distribution of production due to the characteristics of the products. In addition, its economic weight is due to the performance of large, small and medium-sized companies that emphasize differentiation as a form of competition. The Beverage Sector in the State of Rio de Janeiro has companies and groups of major brands, as well as a highlight in the area of premium spirits, wineries, craft breweries and non-alcoholic beverages. This work aims to expose, from a panoramic point of view, the potential of the State of Rio de Janeiro, as a region that associates points of cultural and tourist attraction, with its botanical wealth, seeking to emphasize opportunities for technological development. of drinks. Based on the information, it was possible to verify that the state offers the beverage sector a very favorable consumer market, tax benefits laws, structure for Enotourism and the biodiversity of the Atlantic Forest with native fruits that are little known and explored, and with great potential for use. for the formulation and commercialization of new beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. It is concluded that the evident opportunities identified are inviting factors for new ventures, with the support of development entities and technical support, to be implemented.

Además, su peso económico se debe al desempeño de grandes, pequeñas y medianas empresas que enfatizan la diferenciación como forma de competencia. El Sector de Bebidas en el Estado de Río de Janeiro cuenta con empresas y grupos de grandes marcas, además de destaque en el área de licores premium, bodegas, cervecerías artesanales y bebidas no alcohólicas. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo exponer, desde un punto de vista panorámico, el potencial del Estado de Río de Janeiro, como una región que asocia puntos de atracción cultural y turística, con su riqueza botánica, buscando enfatizar oportunidades para el desarrollo tecnológico de bebidas. Con base en la información, se pudo verificar que el estado ofrece al sector de bebidas un mercado de consumo muy favorable, leyes de beneficios fiscales, estructura para el Enoturismo y la biodiversidad de la Mata Atlántica con frutos nativos poco conocidos y explorados, y con gran potencial de uso para la formulación y comercialización de nuevas bebidas, tanto alcohólicas como no alcohólicas. Se concluye que las oportunidades evidentes identificadas son factores de invitación para la implementación de nuevos emprendimientos, con el apoyo de entidades de desarrollo y apoyo técnico.O setor de bebidas constitui um importante papel na indústria de transformação do Brasil sendo um grande empregador em termos absolutos e com ampla distribuição geográfica da produção devido às características dos produtos. Além disso, deve-se ao seu peso econômico a atuação das grandes, pequenas e médias empresas que enfatizam a diferenciação como forma de competição. O Setor de bebidas do Estado do Rio de Janeiro conta com empresas e grupos de grandes marcas, além de destaque na área de destilados Premium, vinícolas, cervejarias artesanais e bebidas não alcoólicas. Este trabalho tem o objetivo de expor, sob um ponto de vista panorâmico, o potencial do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, como uma região que associa pontos de atração cultural e turística, com sua riqueza botânica, buscando dar ênfase a oportunidades para o desenvolvimento tecnológico de bebidas. Com base nas informações foi possível constatar que o estado oferece ao setor de bebidas um mercado consumidor muito favorável, leis de benefícios fiscais, estrutura para o Enoturismo e a biodiversidade da mata atlântica com frutas nativas pouco conhecidas e exploradas, e com grande potencial de aproveitamento para formulação e comercialização de novas bebidas tanto, alcoólicas como não alcoólica.
