Intellectual disability and assistive technologies in the context of basic education

Resumo: Intellectual disability is part of the developmental disorder group because it manifests before the individual's eighteen years of age. The classroom teacher must be aware of the signs that his students may present so that he can adapt his planning in order to include this student in an affective and effective way. Therefore, this article aimed to reflect on the importance of assistive technologies in basic education in the context of intellectual disability. The method of data collection and development of the study is based on an integrative literature review. With regard to its main results, the study revealed that it should be taken into account that each student has a different way of learning certain content, however the student who has an intellectual disability has a more pronounced difficulty in carrying out the proposed activities. And to help the student with ID, the teacher can and should make use of the technology resources available to demonstrate the use of that content in their daily lives.

El profesor de aula debe estar atento a las señales que puedan presentar sus alumnos para que pueda adaptar su planificación con el fin de incluir a este alumno de forma afectiva y eficaz. Por lo tanto, este artículo tuvo como objetivo reflexionar sobre la importancia de las tecnologías asistivas en la educación básica en el contexto de la discapacidad intelectual. El método de recolección de datos y desarrollo del estudio se basa en una revisión integrativa de la literatura. En cuanto a sus principales resultados, el estudio reveló que se debe tener en cuenta que cada alumno tiene una forma diferente de aprender determinados contenidos, sin embargo el alumno que presenta una discapacidad intelectual presenta una dificultad más pronunciada para la realización de las actividades propuestas. Y para ayudar al alumno con DI, el docente puede y debe hacer uso de los recursos tecnológicos disponibles para demostrar el uso de ese contenido en su vida diaria.A Deficiência Intelectual faz parte do grupo de transtorno do desenvolvimento por se manifestar antes dos dezoito anos do indivíduo. O professor de sala deve estar atento aos sinais que seus alunos possam vim a apresentar para que possa adaptar seu planejamento de forma a incluir esse aluno de forma afetiva e eficaz. Sendo assim, este artigo teve por objetivo refletir sobre a importância das tecnologias assistivas na educação básica no âmbito da Deficiência Intelectual. O método de coleta de dados e desenvolvimento do estudo parte de uma revisão integrativa de literatura. No que tange aos seus resultados principais, o estudo revelou que deve ser levado em consideração que cada aluno possui uma maneira diferente de aprender determinado conteúdo, contudo o aluno que possui Deficiência Intelectual tem uma dificuldade mais acentuada para a realização das atividades propostas.
