Evaluation of the insertion program and accessibility of employees with disabilities in the workplace: a case study in a brewery

Resumo: Work is one of the forms of inclusion for people with disabilities, which favors development, potential and capacity, thus providing their recognition before society. This article aims to evaluate the insertion and accessibility program for employees with disabilities in the workplace in a brewing company. The methodology was through a case study, through observational research. During the observation, it was noticed that the company sought to adopt a policy of inclusion of people with disabilities, because it met most of the requirements and adaptations necessary for people with disabilities to be able to move and live with other employees. However, the company under study has not met all normative requirements related to accessibility. Despite the efforts to adapt its physical facilities, there are still some adaptations that are not impossible for the company to fulfill.

Este artículo tiene como objetivo evaluar el programa de inserción y accesibilidad de empleados con discapacidad en el lugar de trabajo en una empresa cervecera. La metodología fue a través de un estudio de caso, a través de una investigación observacional. Durante la observación se advirtió que la empresa buscó adoptar una política de inclusión de personas con discapacidad, porque cumplía con la mayoría de los requisitos y adaptaciones necesarias para que las personas con discapacidad puedan desplazarse y convivir con otros empleados. Sin embargo, la empresa en estudio no alcanzó el cumplimiento de todos los requisitos normativos relacionados con la accesibilidad. A pesar de los esfuerzos por adecuar sus instalaciones físicas, aún existen algunas adaptaciones que no son imposibles de realizar para la empresa.O trabalho é uma das formas de inclusão das pessoas com deficiência, que favorece no desenvolvimento, potencial e capacidade, proporcionando assim o seu reconhecimento diante da sociedade. Este artigo tem como objetivo avaliar o programa de inserção e acessibilidade dos colaboradores com deficiência no ambiente de trabalho em uma empresa cervejeira. A metodologia foi através de um estudo de caso, por meio da pesquisa observativa. Durante a observação se percebeu que a empresa buscou adotar uma política de inclusão de pessoas com deficiência, porque a mesma cumpriu a maior parte das exigências e adaptações necessárias para que as pessoas com deficiência consigam se deslocar e conviver com os demais funcionários. Entretanto, a empresa em estudo não alcançou o preenchimento de todos quesitos normativos ligados acessibilidades.
