Literary review - Mortars with incorporation of construction waste

Resumo: Considering that civil construction is one of the sectors that most impact the environment and that currently sustainability is one of the most commented subjects, this article aimed to perform a literature biblio review, analyzing the type of cement, trace, substitution content, tests performed and results obtained in mortars with incorporation of construction residues as a substitute for the aggregate and/or binder. The search for articles from journals, dissertations and theses occurred on the portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), in the scielo database and in the academic Google. The period from 2009 to 2021 was considered for the analysis. After the research, the data were chosen from the reading of the title and abstract and when congruents underwent a critical analysis. Thus, 19 studies were selected that investigated the replacement of the aggregate with construction residues. Nine studies were selected in relation to the replacement of the paste by residues. The results of the tests of the selected studies were diversified, among the substitutions of the aggregate, it was observed that the traces 1:4, 1:4.5, 1:2:8 and 1:2:9 showed an increase in mechanical resistance. On the other hand, the mortars that tested the replacement of the paste by residues presented heterogeneous results for the physical parameters and tendency to reduce mechanical performance in hydraulic traits.

La búsqueda de artículos de revistas, disertaciones y tesis se realizó en el portal de revistas de la Coordinación para el Perfeccionamiento del Personal de Educación Superior (CAPES), base de datos scielo y Google académico. El período de 2009 a 2021 se consideró para el análisis. Después de la búsqueda, los datos fueron elegidos a partir de la lectura del título y resumen y cuando fueron congruentes se sometieron a un análisis crítico. Así, se seleccionaron 19 estudios que investigaron la sustitución del árido por residuos de construcción. Se seleccionaron nueve estudios en relación con la sustitución del aglutinante por residuos. Los resultados de las pruebas de los estudios seleccionados fueron diversificados, y entre las sustituciones del agregado se observó que las trazas 1:4, 1:4.5, 1:2:8 y 1:2:9 mostraron un aumento de la resistencia mecánica. Por otro lado, los morteros que probaron la sustitución del aglutinante por residuos presentaron resultados heterogéneos para los parámetros físicos y tendencia a reducir el rendimiento mecánico en los rasgos hidráulicos.Considerando que a construção civil é um dos setores que mais impactam o meio ambiente e que atualmente a sustentabilidade é um dos assuntos mais comentados, este artigo teve como objetivo realizar uma revisão da literatura, analisando o tipo de cimento, traço, teor de substituição, ensaios realizados e resultados obtidos em argamassas com incorporação dos resíduos de construção civil como substituinte do agregado e/ou aglomerante. A busca por artigos de periódicos, dissertações e teses ocorreu no portal de periódicos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), base de dados SciELO e Google acadêmico. Considerou-se para a análise o período de 2009 até 2021. Após a busca, os dados foram escolhidos a partir da leitura do título e do resumo e quando congruente passaram por uma análise crítica. Desta forma, foram selecionados 19 estudos que investigaram a substituição do agregado por resíduos de construção civil. Já em relação a substituição do aglomerante por resíduos foram selecionados nove trabalhos. Os resultados dos ensaios dos estudos selecionados foram diversificados, e entre as substituições do agregado observou-se que os traços 1:4, 1:4,5, 1:2:8 e 1:2:9 apresentaram aumento na resistência mecânica.
