Use of telemonitoring technologies in primary health care strategy in the Covid-19 pandemic: an experience report

Resumo: This study aimed to report the experience in the implementation of telemonitoring in Primary Health Care in the Covid-19 pandemic and how the soft, soft-hard and hard technologies played a key role in ensuring comprehensive and longitudinal care for users of the Unified Health System. This report happened between May 2020 and February 2021, in the city of Camaçari, state of Bahia, and assisted about 1.259 individuals in the territory covered by the health unit. It was observed that the use of technologies aimed to offer not only the maintenance of assistance, but also the strengthening of bonds between professional and each users, organization of service and care management, minimization of injuries and strengthening of communication between user and health team. For these reasons, this digital tool reflects a potential to be useful and explored in other scenarios, after the pandemic period.

Esta experiencia se desarrolló entre mayo de 2020 y febrero de 2021, en el municipio de Camaçari, Bahía, y atendió a unas 1.259 personas inscritas en el territorio cubierto por la unidad sanitaria. Se observó que el uso de las tecnologías pretendía ofrecer no sólo el mantenimiento de la asistencia, sino también el fortalecimiento del vínculo creado entre el profesional y el usuario, la organización del servicio y la gestión de los cuidados, la minimización de las lesiones y el fortalecimiento de la comunicación entre el usuario y el equipo de salud. Por estas razones, esta herramienta digital refleja un potencial para ser útil y explorada en otros escenarios, después del período pandémico.Este estudo teve por objetivo relatar a experiência na implantação do telemonitoramento na Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS) na pandemia do Covid-19 e como as tecnologias leve, leve-dura e dura tiveram papel fundamental na garantia da atenção integral e longitudinal dos usuários do Sistema Único de Saúde. Esta experiência ocorreu entre maio de 2020 a fevereiro de 2021, no município de Camaçari, na Bahia, e assistiu cerca de 1.259 indivíduos adscritos no território coberto pela unidade de saúde. Observou-se que o uso das tecnologias visou ofertar não apenas a manutenção da assistência, mas também o fortalecimento do vínculo criado entre profissional e usuário, a organização da gestão do serviço e do cuidado, a minimização de agravos e o fortalecimento da comunicação entre usuário e equipe de saúde.
